Vintage - OLLCB DT

Here is my posting for the latest challenge over at Ooh-La-La where the theme this time is 'Vintage', I made another easel card, using image and papers from their Fleur D'Imagination CD,  the flowers are made from the same paper I used for the layering, the scroll die cut is from Memory Box, lastly I added some flat packed pearls.

Easel Card - OLLCB DT

Time for a new challenge over at Ooh-La-La Creations, this time the theme is 'Easel Card' mine is a quick and easy one and uses image and papers from their CD Men to Boys, I punched the edges with an MS punch, added a die cut buckle and a small length of ribbon through it.

Card for a Child - OLLCB DT

This one is a bit late, I've only just noticed - oohps !,  it should have posted on Monday but was still sat there waiting to post, not sure what happened there.  

This week our new theme is 'A card for a Child' for Ooh-la-la creations challenge.  The image and papers are from Fairies and Blooms CD, I made it for my Grand-daughter Matilda's birthday,  haven't made a twisted easel for a while so that made a nice change. I added some die cut swirls, ribbon and a senti from my stash.

8/8 - Use a Heart - OLLCB DT

An easel card from me this time for the latest challenge at Ooh-La-La, the papers and image are from their Shawn Jenkins Collection CD, I added some die cut flourishes, a die cut heart, some gems, and little white flowers which I coloured with Promarkers.

On the Beach - CD Sunday DT

This weeks theme at CD Sunday brings back memories for me.  Many many years ago I used to be a surfer, most weekends would find me at a beach in north Devon, surf boards at hand, a small single layer two person tent to grab a couple of hours sleep, and a single burner primus stove for cooking breakfast happy days. 

So the theme is 'On the Beach' my card uses elements and papers from Shabby Chic Seaside by Debbi Moore, the cardstock is Centura Pearl and the dies are from Spellbinders Grand range.

Inspired by a Song - OLLCB DT

It's time for a new theme over at Ooh-La-La and  it's 'Inspired by a Song', my song is How Much is that Doggie in the Window. So today I have an easel card, the image and BP'd are from the Ooh-La-La Cd Faithful Friends, he is so cute.  the die cut is from Marianne Creatables cut in to silver mirri. I finished off with a bow from the CD and some blue raindrops.

Aged to Perfection - CD Sunday DT

This weeks offering from me for CD Sunday DT uses papers and image from Crafters Companion Mulberry Wood, layered on to Pearlescent card and using my new Grand nesting die set, finished off with some ribbon threaded through the holes and tied at the top, love the cute bears with their Champagne, which is where it fits in with our theme 'Aged to Perfection' - I decided it was vintage champagne and therefore aged to perfection. My CD bit is the swirly BP in the corners above the ribbon.

Go Green - CD Sunday DT

What a wet weekend it is, with all this rain the garden will be definitely be green, over at CD Sunday this week, we have the theme of 'Go Green'  I decided to go for colour green rather than recycling and my papers and image are from My Craft Studio Opulent CD.

Easel Cards - OLLCB DT

We did have friends staying with us this week, but a family crisis caused them to have to return to the UK in the early hours of this morning, it was a hectic few hours organising travel and getting them on their journey.  I've only just remembered I had a posting to do this morning, well better late than never !

This week over at Ooh-La-La Challenge we have the theme of 'Easel Cards' one of my favourite styles, for mine I used papers, image which is a pyramaged and embellies from Yesterdays Memories CD which has lot of lovely vintage style images suitable for all occasions including some for those difficult male projects.

We're all loved up here at OLLC right now, so our theme this time over at Ooh-La-La is Love Story, it doesn't have to be a valentines creation, but must be a love creation, my image and papers are from Silhouette Magic CD by Ooh-La-La Creations there are so many lovely images on this CD, I wanted to keep it simple so it would be suitable for a man, so no flowers or pink etc this time, in addition I also used a heart die cut in silver mirri and some heart shaped gems. 

Layer it Up - CD Sunday DT

Time for a new challenge at CD Sunday and this week it is Layer it Up, so I immediately thought decoupage, I love this pansy image from JS RHS Collection which I haven't used for ages, you know how it is, you tend to focus on the latest collections and the old ones get forgotten, so it was an ideal one for me to do for this weeks DT card. Hope you like it.

C... Christmas - OLLCB DT

Time for another challenge from the team at Ooh-La-La Creations Challenge Blog, this time the theme is very topical and is  'C...Christmas' my creation was made using images papers from the latest CD   Yuletide Wishes it has lots of fabulous images, papers and embellishments on it.  In addition to the bits from the Cd I also used a tree die from Marianne Creatables and a corner die from Memory Box, some gems from my stash and white glitter on the fur trim of the hats and jackets.

Teddy Bear Antics - OLL DT

Morning all, it's time for another challenge over at Ooh-La-La and this time our theme is Teddy Bear Antics, my easel card which was made as a sample card for this newest CD is made using image, papers and embellies from the latest cd from Ooh-La-La Everyday Occasions.  I see this Ooh-La-La Cd and others in their range are being shown this afternoon on Create and Craft TV at 2.00pm today, the CD has lots of lovely everday images, papers, embellies etc.

Missing Posts

Typical, seems there have been problems with my scheduled  posts earlier this week, they didn't happen and they have disappeared from the listings, shouldn't grumble really as they are always scheduled and it doesn't happen often,  but why did it have to happen when I am unwell and not up to checking it out ! Makes me want to scream.  Hopefully all will be back to normal this weekend, I just need to feel well enough to make something.

Feeling marginally better today, although not moving much as the ear infection has left me more unbalanced than usual (no rude comments please).  Many thanks for the thoughtful comments about the loss of our Sweep last week, they were very much appreciated.

So onto the missing posts, I am going to make it one big posting, as I'm really not up to sitting like this for long.

On Sunday it was time for a new challenge over at CD Sunday with the theme of 'Cute Christmas', the DT were fortunate enough to be given Elegant Inspirations - Christmas Comfort CD to play with, there are two cd's in this pack one is the normal kind of thing you would expect in the shape of images and backing papers etc., the other cd is full of different cutting files which you can use either with a cutting machine or to print off and cut out by hand.  CD Sunday also have a spare CD to give to the lucky winner of the top 3 this week, so make sure you pop over and have a look.  apart from papers.images from the CD I also used my new holly corner die and added some red Waco Pearl drops for the berries, and a little gold mirri for layering.

On Monday there was also a new challenge over at Ooh-la-La, and their theme for the fortnight is 'All at Sea' my image/papers for this are from 'Boys to Men' CD. with added die cuts from Marianne Creatables using cored'inations card which I lightly sanded after cutting/embossing.

Hats/Handbags - MTTC DT

An easel card to day for my My Time To Craft DT card, the papers and image are from Debbi Moore, the Centura Pearl base card from CC was punched with an MS punch, various bits were highlighted with glitter and I finished off with a small posy of paper roses from JS.

Vintage - OLLCB DT

After yesterdays late posting I think I know what day of the week it is, mind you that doesn't mean I will get anything right !! I'm back to my usual routine of writing this the evening before, so it's dark outside now, it's been a lovely sunny day but chillier than of late due the breeze, more sunshine is forecast for tomorrow Monday.

This time over at Ooh-La-La the challenge is 'Vintage', not a topic i'm over keen on, but I found this lovely image on the Fleur d'imagination CD  in the 'Sunflower' folder, I love sunflowers such a cheerful flower and we have fields of them around here in the summer, the die used for my easel stopper is from Memory Box, and the flowers were also made using Crealie dies and finished off with pearl gems.

Easel Flower Fairy Card - MTTC DT

Another sunny and warm day, isn't it so lovely.  I actually felt well enough to go into my craftroom yesterday afternoon, the first time in just over three weeks, mind you that's me done in now.

It's time for a new challenge over at My Time To Craft, this time we are after your Easel Cards, one of my favourite styles, although it seems like ages since I made one, my patterned papers are from CC Flower Fairies range, this one is lavender fairy and in my favourite colours, the lacy edging is made with an MS punch and finished off with a ribbon and a gem.

Fabulous Fifties - Delightful Challenges DT

It's new release time over at Digital Delights by Louby Loo, this month they have a fabulous set of digi's themed on the Fabulous Fifties.  I used Rockaround Sue, Fifties DP's, 50's Music Set. I can't say that I've ever seen a pink and black spotty poodle ! but the idea amused me and then he matched his mistresses dress, yep I know I'm weird, but I've been this way for many years now and it's probably to late for me to change now.

On Safari - CD Sunday DT

This week we're off On Safari over at CD Sunday,  now that would be nice as it's been a cold and dismal few days here and I do like a daily dose of sunshine.  My entry  uses one of my fav style of cards, an easel fold along with beautiful blues which are my 2nd fav colours after purples, and my fav embellies Card Candi, it was made using the Zebra images from MCS Wild at Heart CD, the senti which does not show up to clearly in the piccy says "Does My Bum Look Big In This" a bit 'cheeky' I know, hope it makes you smile.
