152 A Special Lady - OLLCB DT

Our latest challenge over at Ooh-La-La starts today, with the theme of 'A Special Lady' I decided to use image and papers from Ooh-La-La's Shawn Jenkins CD. I do love cards with flowers and butterflies. My doily was lightly inked with some purple ink as were the edges of the BP, the two little scrolls are made from Martha Stewart paper clay and moulds, they give some depth,  I also cut some extra butterflies for a bit more dimension and finally finished off with a purple bow and a 'for you mum' sentiment.

Challenges:
CD Sunday
polka Doodles
scrapping 4 fun
bearly mine
crafts and me inspiration
seema crafts

Quotations - CD Sunday DT

Good morning, at last a beautiful sunny day, even though it's cold,  it's been so wet here since we got home a few weeks ago, so nice to see some sunshine at long last.

Our latest theme over at CD Sunday is 'Quotations' I did struggle a little with this one at first, probably because I rarely use words on the front of my cards, I did a search through my CD's and found this one on Debbi Moore's Shabby Chic Butterflies and Flowers, it gave me a chance to use my favourite large butterfly die and a couple of smaller butterflies using a Martha Stewart punch.

Hope to see your entry over at the challenge and don't forget to pop over to my teamies blogs and see what they have made.

Love Always - CD Sunday DT

Hello, I'm back this week from our holidays at Antibes in the south of France with the Camping Car, the weather was lovely and warm and sunny most days, so nice to sit out in the sun,  the two months really flew by, I must say we are not liking all this rain and wind and cold that we have here at home in Western France, the Atlantic winds are battering the coast here similar to those in UK, so much damage all over the place.

As I prepared and scheduled  all my posts for the period we were away before we went, I almost forgot to do this one, so it's 3am and I'm quickly writing this.

Our theme this week at CD Sunday is Love Always, well it is that time of year again.  I used Shabby Chic Time Flies CD by Debbi Moore this was such a quick and easy card to make.

Hope to see your entry on the CD Sunday Blog, don't forget to pop on to my teamies blogs and see what they have come up with.

Wonderful Wings - CD Sunday DT

Back again at long last, what a few weeks it's been, firstly we had no internet for a couple weeks or so, we also managed to get the awful flu bug that's doing the rounds over here and lasts for weeks, just when we thought we were improving it all got worse again, still have the chest and ear infection, so fingers crossed we keep on getting better, because i'm so fed up with it all.

There will be three postings today, bringing me up to date with my DT's.  My first card for CD Sunday  was made for a friends birthday and uses papers and image from Debbi Moores Shabby Chic Victorian Botanical I also used a MS punch down the front edge

Such a wet and cold week it's been again, so far we've resisted putting the heating back on again, but it's come close a couple of times, particularly as yet again we both have sore throats, earache and painful chest, just hope i'm not going to get another bout of pleurisy.

This week our theme over at CD Sunday is Trees and Shrubs, my mojo doesn't seem to be working too well at the moment so I kept it easy and it's not one of my better creations, as you can see I steered away from my original thought of lots of greens,  my image and papers are from MCS Setting the Scene.

Enchantment - CD Sunday DT

Morning all, another gloomy and cold day, I really could do with some sunshine even for just for a couple of hours, we seem to have been shrouded in fog for ages now and have had to have the lights on all day this past couple of weeks.

This week our challenge over at CD Sunday is enchantment, I thought this decoupaged Fairy from Debbi Moore seemed quite enchanted with the flower and butterfly and would suit the theme perfectly. The BP is also from Debbi Moore, printed onto Hammered card and the borders were made with an MS Punch.

New Beginnings - OLL DT

Yay!! my first posting as a member of the DT over at Ooh-La-La Challenge, our challenge for this fortnight is New Beginnings, so for me it was good to make a calendar.  My Ooh-La-La  gorgeous image is from the Carnival of Colour CD, I took the image into a calendar making program that came with my printer, I layered onto dark green mirri and Centura Pearl card, my new corner embelishments and the butterflies which I have for ages are made from Marianne Creatable dies.

Ooh-La-La  have recently launched their new CD called

Natures Wonders - CD Sunday DT

Another month gone again, cannot believe it's October already, and yes I'm late with posting today as I overslept mostly because I finally got to sleep at around 6.30 this morning.

As it's the 1st week of the month it's sponsor time over at CD Sunday, this month we are being sponsored by the lovely Sue from Creative Expressions, I love watching her demo's on the TV she always has such wonderful ideas, if you have watched her demo's you may  recognise the concertina folded die cut which she did in August,  I wanted to have a go at this and thought what better time to do it than now, although mine is no-where near as stuniing as Sue's, but it was my first attempt and it looks much better in real life.  My CD bit is the backing paper from MCS Simply Sillhouttes, The butterfly and word stamps were part of the Natures Wonder stamp sheet kindly given to the DT to use by Sue. Other bits I used were: my MS butterflies punch, Waco Pearly drops, linen effect blue mirri.  Hope to see your entry on the CD Sunday blog this week, just don't forget to use a little something from a CD.
