I'm so pleased I have been given this blog award from Wendy at wendyscraftingtimes
So as part of this award I must tell you why I started my Blog and why I keep it going.
I started my blog for me to keep a record of my completed cards & projects, and to show my friends and family, who are spread all over the world.
Then I found out about challenges, another great reason to make things, there is so inspiration and information out there for when my mojo deserts me, it's so addictive,
Why I keep it going, I'm learning so many new techniques from my new online friends, and I'm just plain nosey, I love to see what people have been up to. It's good to share
Now I have to give this award to 10 of my fav blogs, Now that is a difficult choice to make, there are so many good ones out there:
Christine - christine-ladylacecraftingblog
Cynthia - rainbowladyscraftyblog
Doreen - doreensdream
Elaina - moulinrougedesigns
Katie - katies-crafts
Linda - linda-linjancreations
Nicky - smurfscraft
Sarah - sarah-craftycreations
Jenny - starcylcrackers
Wendy - craftblog.craftybutterfly
To you and everyone else who visits my blog, a big thank you for being a part of my life.
Wendy

Let it Snow
Not as happy with this as I would like, it was supposed a quick and simple card, but it took ages to apply the words, I cut them with my Robo and wanted them fine, but I went a bit too fine for easy application though, and I'm not happy with the shape of the "n" in snow, so will be editing the words a little, before I use them again, as I liked the effect of the combination.
I used MS punches for both types of snowflake and cut them from glitter paper, embossing board for the front edge from Crafters Companion and the card is my absolute favourite Centura pearl also from Crafters Companion
I am going to enter this into Winter Wonderland - No Designer Paper Challenge
and christmas cards all year round
Thanks for looking.

Cross Stitching
Finally !! - Two cross stitching projects which were ongoing for a couple of years, but are now finally finished, I still have 4 other smaller projects on the go, Motorcycle, Lavender Field scene, Needlecase & Scissors Keep, in a lavender bouquet design using loads of french knots for the flowers as well as cross stitch, Dolphins frolicking and One large one, which is similar to the butterfly wall hanging, but with 12 individual flower panels, so on past experience some of them will be finished in 2 or 3 years or so. I don't do much Cross-stitching at home, it tends to get done when we are away with the caravan.
I am entering the Advent calender into a crafting challenge - Cute and Girly - Animal Antics
Advent Calender uses a Tatty Teddy pattern at the top, and various small designs that took me a couple of years to find the right ones, they are small pockets, which can have sweet or something small popped into it, I personally I like Werthers butterscotch candy sweets, they are individually wrapped in gold coloured wrappers and will fit just nicely and most of all they are lovely. So I'll be able to use it at last this Christmas
The butterfly wallhanging is 80cm x 50cm, and lined /framed with lemon cotton fabric.

It's Summer !!
The weather this week is pretty good, not quite as hot as it has been, so a little more bearable for me, as well as birthday cards I have made a three more christmas cards for family and friends to tick off from my list, trouble is the list still keeps getting longer, and I know I have to get them done before mid october.
I promised myself I was not going to make anything using pink or purple this week, well that didn't work out well, despite starting off with thoughts of any other colours, my two latest cards ended up being pinks and purples, although I did make another project recently for a bit of fun, that has very little purple, i might post that later so you can have a laugh.
This pretty fairy is enjoying the summer, lovin her flower and butterfly, now why can't my hair and body be like hers, she has a lovely little dress too, well I can dream !!
I'm entering this into:
Just Inspirational Challenges #5
flutterby wednesdays #115
crafty creations challenges # 78
ooh-la-la-creations challenges #59
I used:
Image & background paper - Debbi Moore Fairies range
Centura Pearl card - Crafters Companion
Mirri card
MS border/corner punches
