Choc, cream and one other - CD Sunday DT

Not sure what happened to the 'comment' box on my last posting, sometimes it was there and sometimes it wasn't, how weird, so thanks to those whose tried to leave me a comment but couldn't.

My card this week for CD Sunday is not a great photo colourwise, it really is a creamy colour and not white as it looks here.  My CD bit is the flowery BP from BMD, such lovely BP's,  the dies were my latest purchase of spellbinders Morroccan dies set , the centre embellie was made using my epihany tool and added some pearl gems to the centre, the ribbon is an extra wide one from my stash.

Sweets for My Sweet - CD Sunday DT

Morning all, Goodness it's so chilly, we gave in on Sunday last week and put our heating back on, just when we thought we'd finished with it until later in the year. I hope that 10 days of fabulous weather early in the month was not our summer.

I decided I don't like the new blogger interface, faffed about with it for a few days since they automatically switched me to it, so I've reverted mine back to the old one, do wish they would stop playing with things, bit like facebook and the new timeline, don't like that either.

I had lots of lovely entries to pick from last weeks theme, they were all lovely, don't foeget to check out the CD sunday Blog to see if you were in the top three later in the week. This weeks theme over at CD Sunday is Sweets for my Sweet, chosen by my teamie Carol, she picked it because it's her birthday this week,  Happy Birthday Carol.  My Tatty Teddy image and papers are from Do Crafts Me to You range, he has a luscious looking cake decorated with sparkly sweets and totally calorie free !.  I also used my new primrose die from Memory box and core'dinations card, the white doily I inked with chalk ink, all finished off with gems for the card and centre of the flowers.

Bold and Bright - OLLCB DT

It's Sunday evening and I'm getting my posting ready for tomorrow morning, had a sleepy day today, couldn't sleep last night finally fell asleep at 6.55am and seemed to doze of and on all day, now i feel like i've been drugged !! Apparantly I didn't miss much of a day as my OH says it was fairly windy and dismal.  Hope I sleep better tonight.

Time for another challenge over at Ooh-La-La we would like to see your 'bold and bright' creations, mine is made from images and papers from their lastest CD Fairies and Blooms with the addition of some spellbinders swirls cut into gold linen card,  Marianne flowers dies cut into the BP from the CD and some plain paper from my stash for the layers and the lacey border.

Ring a Roses - CD Sunday DT

Morning all, what a hectic week, had a lovely surprise just over a week ago, my eldest son came to visit for most of the week, I hadn't seen him for almost a year, due to life getting in the way, so it was lovely to catch up again.

This week it's my time to pick the theme over at CD Sunday, and I chose 'Ring a Roses', so I hope to see your entry over there, for my card I made one of those difficult subject ones which we all have to make from time to time a sympathy card, Purple is a colour of mourning in some parts of the world and as it's my fav colour too, I decided to use the papers and image from Shabby Chic Vintage Flowers range by Debbi Moore, corner punched some layers with an MS punch, added some black gems and a ribbon bow and edged some pieces with peel offs for a change.

Fairy Nice - MTTC DT

A quick posting from me today, as we have visitors for a few days.  This time over at MTTC our theme is 'Fairy Nice',  My fairy is from the Debbi Moore range which I haven't used for ages, normally I always go for Flower Fairies, but thought I should give DM fairies an outing, I printed my BP direct onto hammered card and made into a 3d shutter style card, and added the decoupaged fairy, a really quick and easy card.

Toybox Treasures - CD Sunday DT

Morning all and  Happy Easter, today I'm sharing the card that I made for my youngest grandaughters birthday, she was one year old yesterday, Happy Birthday Ivy.

As I always try to make my DT cards with someone particular in mind, it's also my DT card for CD Sunday, our new challenge for this week is 'Toybox Treasures'.  My image and floral BP is from the 'Me To You' range, I glazed the balloon and glittered the parcels, although it doesn't show very well on this piccy.  I also used my Epiphany tool to cut and make the birthday embellie and mounted onto two of my new die cuts from spellbinders, all finished off with some organza ribbons and bow and little gem from my stash.

After yesterdays late posting I think I know what day of the week it is, mind you that doesn't mean I will get anything right !! I'm back to my usual routine of writing this the evening before, so it's dark outside now, it's been a lovely sunny day but chillier than of late due the breeze, more sunshine is forecast for tomorrow Monday.

This time over at Ooh-La-La the challenge is 'Vintage', not a topic i'm over keen on, but I found this lovely image on the Fleur d'imagination CD  in the 'Sunflower' folder, I love sunflowers such a cheerful flower and we have fields of them around here in the summer, the die used for my easel stopper is from Memory Box, and the flowers were also made using Crealie dies and finished off with pearl gems.

All Sewn Up - CD Sunday DT

Morning, another lovely day, a bit chillier as it quite breezy out, I'm all behind today, after a restless night I then overslept, normally I pre-schedule my the day before they are due, but this week has been all muddled up I seem to have lost a day somewhere and thought yesterday was Friday, so didn't have the posting ready, thankfully I saw all my teamies postings pop up and the light went on in my head !!.

It's April already, where is this year going, and as it's the first challenge of the month over at CD Sunday we are so lucky the Debees CD's agreed to sponsor us again, with a prize of your choice of one of Debees CD's to our lucky winner, the DT were supplied with a range of images from her 'Stitchin' Tails' CD to work with.  In addition to the image and striped BP I have used core'dinations whitewash card with a Beatrix Potter embossing folder and sanded to bring out the core colour and the edges,  the buttons print is from the CD and I used an Epiphany tool to make the button embellishments, all available from CC,  ribbon was from my stash made into a multi loop bow and finshed off with card candi.
