Faithful Friends - OLLCB DT

At long last I've been able to get onto the Blogger site, I haven't been able to access it since Saturday morning. So here I am, better late than never,  this is my DT card for the latest challenge over at Ooh-La-La, where we have have the theme of 'Faithful Friends' my images and papers are from Faithful Friends CD by Ooh-La-La Creations, I decided it was time for a Waterfall style card for a change, all finished off with some organza ribbon and Card Candi.

Birthday - OLLCB

A nice and easy challenge this time over at Ooh-La-La Creations challenge blog the new theme is 'Birthday'.  Most of the cards I make are for Birthdays.  I made this DT card using the Nursery Times CD and added some Card Candi to the finished card.

There is also a DT Call this week for anyone who is interested.

Simply Square - CD Sunday DT

Hello, I'm back again at long last.  Back in August I had a fall and injured my right arm, I also dislocated my index finger on my left hand, just as they were improving a few weeks later I had another fall doing exactly the same thing again, my right arm is now much better, but the finger will never be the same, it's crooked and also numb at the end, the knuckle joints are still painful, so i'm having to change how i do things, you don't realise how much you use the finger till it's out of action.

This week at CD Sunday our theme is 'Simply Square', my card was a quick and easy one, it Suses image and papers from Mulberry Wood CD by Crafters Companion, I have decoupaged some layers, and finished off with some Card Candi, Sakura Glitter pens and Christmas ribbon from my stash.

Today I'm showing an an Aperture card which is my DT card for the latest 'Aperture' theme at My Time To Craft. Made using Centura Pearl base card, a die for the aperture, card candi and images and papers from Shabby Chic Vintage Travel by Debbi Moore.

The One you Love - OLLCB DT

Yay !! back on line at last, have missed it, we had a tremendous thunderstorm that knocked out our internet and phone lines early in the weekend, so i'm quickly posting my latest DT card for Ooh-La-La, then must go off to do my commenting that didn't happen.

My image and papers are from Carnival of Colour CD, with the addition of a die cut heart from silver mirri card.

My last post for the day is for Ooh-La-La where we have the theme of Green and Orange, my gorgeous kitties image and the papers are all from their CD Yesterdays Memories with the addition of some Card Candi and I inked the edges of the papers to give some depth.

Its A Man Thing - OLL DT

My last post for today is for Ooh-La-La and here we have the theme of  'It's A Man Thing' my images and papers are from Boys to Men CD, one of my favorite CD's for the men in my life, this one was made for my grandsons birthday, I also used some self adhesive paper tape and card candi, seem to have a bit of theme running with MS punches and the front edge of the card  ooohps!! how co-incidental they were made at different times, just happens they have all been posted together.

Think of a Number - CD Sunday DT

Well it's almost the end of the year, this is my last DT card for this year, it's for CD Sunday where this week we have the theme of  'Think of a Number', my card is a a Kinetic birthday card for one of my grand daughters who is 4 years old, I've used an image from Rachelle Miller Collection, the BP is one of my favourites from Do Crafts Me To You CD.

Spots N Dots - OLLCB DT #119

Another fortnight gone again and it's time for a new challenge over at Ooh-La-La-Creations, this time we have the theme is 'Spots n Dots'.  All the patterned papers and image and even the bow are from their Everyday Occasions CD, to finish off I added some Card Candi.

Beautiful Blue - CD Sunday

Partly back again after my break and to start here's one I made for this weeks challenge at CD Sunday which is 'Beautiful Blue', the paper is from DoCrafts Me to You CD, and digi image and senti are from Delicious Doodles, the base card is Centura Pearl from CC.  Hope you like it.

Transport - MTTC 1/8

The first of several scheduled postings over the next couple of weeks, this one is my DT card for My Time To Craft Blog, whose theme this week is 'Transport', I made it a while ago now for my oldest sons birthday, he's into motorbikes.

I can't remember where the decoupage image and paper came from, I do remember it was a freebie download, the corners punches were created with an MS punch and I also used Card Candi.

Need for Speed - CD Sunday DT

Morning all, well it's Sunday again and time for a new challenge over at CD Sunday, this week the theme is 'Need for Speed'.  Another quick and easy card from me, as i'm still not so good.  My image is from Online Digital supplier Simply Sumara, the BP from Ooh-La-La's Boys to Men CD, the die cut cogs are from Spellbinders with the addition of some card candy. Although it doesn't show well in the piccy I also Sakura Glitter pens to highlight the highlight and the scew head images.

Mainly Men - CD Sunday DT

All behind again this week, apologies if I didn't get to comment on your blog.   My health this past week has been worse than normal and much more painful than usual, also seem to have some bug or other yet again !!  Fingers crossed for a better week to come.

This week it was my turn to pick the theme over at CD Sunday and I chose mainly Men, thankfully I made my card well in advance of this week, something I'm always short of  is cards for the fellas, so it seemed like a good choice, I used MCS for the polka dot paper, the rest of the items are from some freebie papers I got a while from a magazine.

Mystical Magic - OLLCB DT - 4/8

Mystical Magic is the theme this time over at Ooh-La-La Challenge, as fairies are both mystical and magical I thought this image from their Fairies in Bloom fitted the bill quite nicely. The pretty fairy image was layered onto some gold mirri and I used an MS punch for the edge of the card and some card candi and a little bow to finish off.

It Takes Two - MTTC DT

Time for another challenge over at My Time To Craft, this time our theme is 'It Takes Two', so we want to see two of something, in my case this shutter card has two images, I printed my BP direct on to a sheet of hammered card, I used green mirri card for the layering and also the Marianne die cut flourishes, the feather, card candi and flowers were all from my stash.

My pyramage imge and BP's are from the Ooh-la-la CD Boys to Men, the fine gold edging was made with a gold marker pen, and the centre stepper card is finished off with card candi and some ribbon from my stash.

Not sure where the time is going, I cannot believe we are almost at the end of April. So another forthnight gone and it's time for a new challenge over at My Time To Craft,  this time we have the them of Gardening Gems, so that gives you quite a bit of scope. My image and paper is from Pam West 2 by Joanna Sheen, with some card from my stash for layering, I used an MS border punch for the edges, silver card candi and finally a silver  'congratulations' senti.

It's Sunday evening and I'm getting my posting ready for tomorrow morning, had a sleepy day today, couldn't sleep last night finally fell asleep at 6.55am and seemed to doze of and on all day, now i feel like i've been drugged !! Apparantly I didn't miss much of a day as my OH says it was fairly windy and dismal.  Hope I sleep better tonight.

All Sewn Up - CD Sunday DT

Morning, another lovely day, a bit chillier as it quite breezy out, I'm all behind today, after a restless night I then overslept, normally I pre-schedule my the day before they are due, but this week has been all muddled up I seem to have lost a day somewhere and thought yesterday was Friday, so didn't have the posting ready, thankfully I saw all my teamies postings pop up and the light went on in my head !!.

It's April already, where is this year going, and as it's the first challenge of the month over at CD Sunday we are so lucky the Debees CD's agreed to sponsor us again, with a prize of your choice of one of Debees CD's to our lucky winner, the DT were supplied with a range of images from her 'Stitchin' Tails' CD to work with.  In addition to the image and striped BP I have used core'dinations whitewash card with a Beatrix Potter embossing folder and sanded to bring out the core colour and the edges,  the buttons print is from the CD and I used an Epiphany tool to make the button embellishments, all available from CC,  ribbon was from my stash made into a multi loop bow and finshed off with card candi.

Another fortnight gone again, cannot believe we are half way through March already.  It's time for another challenge over at Ooh-La-La Challenge Blog and this week our theme is 'Thank You'.  My card this time is made from images and papers from their latest CD Fairies and Blooms, lots of fabulous images and papers to choose from, my image is just right for this time of year with the lovely spring colours, if you fancy a further look at what's on the CD click on the link above. Additional bits and bobs are ribbon, pearls and card candi from Joanna Sheen, the flowers were die cut with Marianne dies from the flowers paper on the CD, much neater and quicker than me handcutting the shapes !!
