Easel Card - OLLCB DT

Time for a new challenge over at Ooh-La-La Creations, this time the theme is 'Easel Card' mine is a quick and easy one and uses image and papers from their CD Men to Boys, I punched the edges with an MS punch, added a die cut buckle and a small length of ribbon through it.

What an awful night here in France and the day is not shaping up to be much better, high winds, heavy rain and hail through the night, now it's black skies, heavy rain and thunder, it's so dark we've got the lights on, there has been structural damage in some areas and yet more flooding on the Atlantic coast, 

So onto my card this week, our latest theme over at Ooh-La-La Creations Challenge is 'Happy Anniversary', I've gone for the more masculine type card this time, hence the lack of pretty bows and flowers, instead I've used bakers twine and real sea shells, the image and papers are from the Shawn Jenkins Collection CD by Ooh-La-La, this CD is one of my favourites from their range with so many fantastic images, I also used an Martha Stewart punch on the front edges, insideI've overlaid the BP with a Spell Binders hearts and lattice die cut panel.

Showtime - CD Sunday DT

So where did January go, I can't believe it's February already, time for another challenge over at CD Sunday, this week the them is 'Showtime' my image is from Daisy and Friends CD from Joanna Sheen, she so cute, I edge punched the front of the card with an MS punch and my little flowers were made using an Artimeo flower die.

Bold and Bright - OLLCB DT

It's Sunday evening and I'm getting my posting ready for tomorrow morning, had a sleepy day today, couldn't sleep last night finally fell asleep at 6.55am and seemed to doze of and on all day, now i feel like i've been drugged !! Apparantly I didn't miss much of a day as my OH says it was fairly windy and dismal.  Hope I sleep better tonight.

Imagine - CD Sunday DT

Well this one should have been posted yesterday, sorry, I'm running a little late !!, due to being unwell and still getting worse instead of better, I won't be here long, I'm going to crawl back to my sick bed.

It's the first week of a shiny new month, so that means a sponsored challenged over at CD Sunday and the chance of a CD prize, this time from Elegant Inspirations whose latest CD is Imagine.

 

Be My Valentine - OLLCB DT

Morning, goodness it's freezing, we had more snow yesterday, on top of the 10cm of snow we had a week ago, that hadn't melted because it's been so cold, the warmest day we've had this past week has been -4C, our nights have been hovering around -10C, it does look pretty but I hope it's going to warm up soon.

Well it's time for another challenge over at Ooh-La-La Creations and this time we want to see those Valentines Creations, my images and papers are from their Silhouettes CD, I made some punched edges with an MS Punch, used some felt hearts, and heart shaped gems which I've had forever in my stash, and finished off with a Memory box heart die and double bow made from organza ribbon.

Trees - CD Sunday DT

This week we would love to see some Trees over at CD Sunday, I'm using a digi image I got from Gingerloft a long time ago now, as it was a png image I was able to put a backing paper behind it in MCS program and colour it that way, the backing papers are all from MCS Crystal Sparkle CD.  I also used an MS punch for the glitter band, a die cut for the tag and some lovely metal leaf buttons I've had for ever and had cut the shanks off already to use on a card.
