Quotations - CD Sunday DT

Good morning, at last a beautiful sunny day, even though it's cold,  it's been so wet here since we got home a few weeks ago, so nice to see some sunshine at long last.

Our latest theme over at CD Sunday is 'Quotations' I did struggle a little with this one at first, probably because I rarely use words on the front of my cards, I did a search through my CD's and found this one on Debbi Moore's Shabby Chic Butterflies and Flowers, it gave me a chance to use my favourite large butterfly die and a couple of smaller butterflies using a Martha Stewart punch.

Masking - MTTC DT

This week our theme at My Time To Craft this week is 'Masking' .  I am showing you some ATC's I made recently for a swap, I masked together the various flowers, butterflies and birds from various Daisy Trail digi kits using Craft Artist 2 before printing and cutting around the top of the images and layering onto the backgrounds.

Forever in Blue Jeans - CD Sunday DT

Morning all,  I'm writing in the middle of the night as I can't sleep just for a change ! as I write we are finally getting some snow, we had half an inch the other day which lasted for an hour or so, tonight it is snowing hard and fast, and we already have a couple of inches and it's still snowing.

The first card I'm showing this week is my DT card for CD Sunday where we have the new theme of 'Forever in Blue Jeans', so I have bears in denim and a denim background from Ooh-La-La's Boys to Men CD, I also used Memory Box corner dies and Britannia Happy Birthday dies.

Will be back with another creation On Monday.

Animals in the snow - MTTC DT

This week is the last challenge for 2012 and our theme at My Time To Craft is Animals in the Snow'  so i've gone for a quick and easy card, so many cards to make at this time of year.  The penguins are from Jayne Netley Mayhew Collection by Joanna Sheen, the BP is from my stash has been punched with an MS punch, the senti is also from my stash, printed from a CD a long time ago.

Time for another new challenge over at CD Sunday, this week we are going to be 'Inspired by Nature', my  CD bit is the BP from My Craft Studio, Simply Silhouettes, I've also used an MS punch with dies from Marianne Creatables and Spellbinders and flowers from Crafters Companion

A digi scrapbook page this time for my DT posting today over at My Time To Craft, where the new challenge this week is for 'Domestic Pets',  the piccys in this page are of our 18 year old girl who unfortunately died back in the summer, I used Craft Artist 2 software to assemble this and various elements and papers from Diasy Trail.

Someone Special - OLLCB DT

Another fortnight gone and time for a new challenge over at Ooh-La-La and this time theme is 'Someone Special', so I chose to make a Christmas card for my special person, I used images and papers from the latest CD from Ooh-La-La Creations Yueltide Wishes and made into another style I haven't made for ages, added some sakura glitter pens for a bit of sparkle to the bears hat and scarf, and finished off with some big mirri blue snowflakes with an MS punch..

C... Christmas - OLLCB DT

Time for another challenge from the team at Ooh-La-La Creations Challenge Blog, this time the theme is very topical and is  'C...Christmas' my creation was made using images papers from the latest CD   Yuletide Wishes it has lots of fabulous images, papers and embellishments on it.  In addition to the bits from the Cd I also used a tree die from Marianne Creatables and a corner die from Memory Box, some gems from my stash and white glitter on the fur trim of the hats and jackets.

If the Shoe Fits - OLLCB DT

This week our challenge over at Ooh-La-La is 'If the shoe Fits',  I made this one for a friends birthday a while back and thought it fitted the bill perfectly for this challenge, images, papers etc are from Shoes in Bloom by Ooh-La-La.  Hope to see your entry over there this fortnight.

Bingo - CD Sunday DT

Morning, I enjoyed looking at all your masculine cards last week, making it a hard decision to pick my top 3, so it's time for another challenge over at CD Sunday and this week our theme is Bingo, I selected the row with flowers, senti, gems, you can see the other choices if you pop over to the CD Sunday Blog.

My creation this week is using an image from Joanna Sheens' Precious Petals CD, isn't she so cute.  Hope to see your Bingo entries during the week.

Recipe - OLLCB DT

Cannot believe it's two weeks since the last challenge at Ooh-La-La, this time the them is a Recipe, one image, 2 DP,  3 embellies (for me gems, paper ribbon and hearts).

My card is made using the latest CD Everyday Occasions from Ooh-La-La which was recently introduced on Create and Craft TV, and is one of the sample cards I made for the CD's launch.  It's full of fantastic images, papers and embellies.  Everything on the card is from the CD apart from the gems. Yep the page curl is not a real page curl but a flat peice of paper as is the bow, it's a paper one.

Wedding - MTTC DT - 2/8

A Humphrey card this week from me for my My Time To Craft DT, where the theme is Weddings, the Humphrey range is  from Crafters Companion, I inked some of the layers to give some dimension, made some tiny bows and added some heart shaped gems from my stash.

Make it Girly - OLLCB DT

This time for the OLL challenge blog the theme is 'Make It Girly' my digi image and papers are from the Ooh-La-La CD Dreams of Tranquility, such a restful image I layered it onto part of a doily and part of a BP punched with MS punches which I also used on the corners of the main BP and then inked the edges, to finish off I added some butterfly cut from kanban holographic mirri card using Memory Box and Marianne Dies.

It Takes Two - MTTC DT

Time for another challenge over at My Time To Craft, this time our theme is 'It Takes Two', so we want to see two of something, in my case this shutter card has two images, I printed my BP direct on to a sheet of hammered card, I used green mirri card for the layering and also the Marianne die cut flourishes, the feather, card candi and flowers were all from my stash.

Another fortnight gone already !, where are the weeks going, I cannot believe we are already half way through May, so it means time for another challenge over at Ooh-La-La Creations Challenge  this time our theme is Ribbon/Twine, as you can see i've used ribbon, on my waterfall card, and images/papers from Ooh-La-La's latest CD Fairies and Blooms, along with some Centura Pearl base card and gold Mirri for the layering, I also highlighted the image with glitter, but that unfortuantely doesn't show that well in the piccy.

Bold and Bright - OLLCB DT

It's Sunday evening and I'm getting my posting ready for tomorrow morning, had a sleepy day today, couldn't sleep last night finally fell asleep at 6.55am and seemed to doze of and on all day, now i feel like i've been drugged !! Apparantly I didn't miss much of a day as my OH says it was fairly windy and dismal.  Hope I sleep better tonight.

All Sewn Up - CD Sunday DT

Morning, another lovely day, a bit chillier as it quite breezy out, I'm all behind today, after a restless night I then overslept, normally I pre-schedule my the day before they are due, but this week has been all muddled up I seem to have lost a day somewhere and thought yesterday was Friday, so didn't have the posting ready, thankfully I saw all my teamies postings pop up and the light went on in my head !!.

It's April already, where is this year going, and as it's the first challenge of the month over at CD Sunday we are so lucky the Debees CD's agreed to sponsor us again, with a prize of your choice of one of Debees CD's to our lucky winner, the DT were supplied with a range of images from her 'Stitchin' Tails' CD to work with.  In addition to the image and striped BP I have used core'dinations whitewash card with a Beatrix Potter embossing folder and sanded to bring out the core colour and the edges,  the buttons print is from the CD and I used an Epiphany tool to make the button embellishments, all available from CC,  ribbon was from my stash made into a multi loop bow and finshed off with card candi.

Spring - CD Sunday DT

Morning, it's another beautiful day, sunny and warm this morning and we're forecast for a whole week of weather like this, we've had daffodils and crocus out in our garden for a little while now.  I'm still suffering, I've now lost count of how long I've been like this, but I am slowly improving week by week, hopefully all this lovely weather will help some more.

Our challenge this week over at CD Sunday is Spring has Sprung, initially I thought a lovely image of spring flowers or similar, but then me being me I would be different and go with daffodil colours, my CD element is the BP it's from MCS Collectors Edition, Mens CD, the shapes are die cut spellbinders using Centura Pearl card, finished off with a a hand tied bow and some gems from my stash.

Another fortnight gone again, cannot believe we are half way through March already.  It's time for another challenge over at Ooh-La-La Challenge Blog and this week our theme is 'Thank You'.  My card this time is made from images and papers from their latest CD Fairies and Blooms, lots of fabulous images and papers to choose from, my image is just right for this time of year with the lovely spring colours, if you fancy a further look at what's on the CD click on the link above. Spots n Dots - CD Sunday DT

This week our challenge over at CD Sunday is 'Spots n Dots',  mine is a birthday card I made for a special friend of mine, she loves yellows, and daffodils, hope she likes it.  The image is from CC Fairyopolis Spring/Summer, the wings and dress have glittered accents on them by using my sakura glitter pens, the BP's I've had for a while now, not sure where I got them from. I finished off with a bow made with my mini bowdabra and some lovely pearls.

My chest pains from the Pleurisy are almost gone, just keep niggling now and then, I still have earache, sorethroat and cough but as I've had it since before christmas I'm not expecting it to rush off and leave me, still haven't been in the craftroom, that's coming up for three weeks now, but hope to be able to remedy that this week
