Going Round in Circles - CD Sunday DT

The title of this weeks challenge over at CD Sunday sounds a little like me some days, hehe.  Anyway our latest challenge is 'Going Round in Circles', I couldn't think what to do at first, my image and papers are from Popcorn Platinum Edition from Crafters Companion. I ended up with plenty of circles, I also used some purple glitter paper, MS punches, and some little gems, oh yes and some peel offs, I haven't used them for ages.

add a Number - CD Sunday DT

I'm showing  you all an oval shaped card today, this is my DT card for CD Sunday, our new theme is 'Add a Number', I cut the shaped card using Centura Pearl and a Go Kreate nesting die, I also cut the DP into the same shape, the image is from Debbi Moores' CD My Fair Lady, finally I added some glitter, Kort and Godt roses and the numbers.

Sugar and Spice CD Sunday DT

This challenge for CD Sunday made think of the rhyme little girls are made of Sugar and Spice, etc... I found this adorable image on Paintbox Poppets from Crafters Companion, and the bottom backing paper is from a Joanna Sheen, Hollypond Hill the button embellies are also from the CD, I glittered the rain drops although it doesn't show on the piccy.

Vintage Vogue - CD Sunday DT

Good Morning, it's time for another challenge over at CD Sunday, this week our theme is Vintage Vogue, so  I decided it was time to dust off Debbi Moores Glitter and Glitz CD, I went for striking effect with Black and Red and of course plenty of red glitter.

Animals in the snow - MTTC DT

This week is the last challenge for 2012 and our theme at My Time To Craft is Animals in the Snow'  so i've gone for a quick and easy card, so many cards to make at this time of year.  The penguins are from Jayne Netley Mayhew Collection by Joanna Sheen, the BP is from my stash has been punched with an MS punch, the senti is also from my stash, printed from a CD a long time ago.

Frosty Days - CD Sunday DT

'Frosty Days' A very apt title for this weeks challenge over at CD Sunday, It's frosty and cold here this morning,  I have used decoupage image/papers from Popcorn Frosty and Bright CD by  Companion, the corners are punched with an MS Punch, glitter and flowersoft snow was added to the scarves and hats and I did a different interior fold for this one which I think is quite effective.

Oh Christmas Tree - CD Sunday DT

Time for a christmas card I reckon, this card is my CD Sunday DT card where we have the theme of 'Oh Christmas Tree', one of my favourite images is this one from  Majestic Christmas CD by Debbi Moore.  Some more decoupage from me this time and I used a MS punch for the front edge and some glitter to highlight the glittery bits.  Don't forget to pop over and have a look at my teamies makes for this week.

Someone Special - OLLCB DT

Another fortnight gone and time for a new challenge over at Ooh-La-La and this time theme is 'Someone Special', so I chose to make a Christmas card for my special person, I used images and papers from the latest CD from Ooh-La-La Creations Yueltide Wishes and made into another style I haven't made for ages, added some sakura glitter pens for a bit of sparkle to the bears hat and scarf, and finished off with some big mirri blue snowflakes with an MS punch..

C... Christmas - OLLCB DT

Time for another challenge from the team at Ooh-La-La Creations Challenge Blog, this time the theme is very topical and is  'C...Christmas' my creation was made using images papers from the latest CD   Yuletide Wishes it has lots of fabulous images, papers and embellishments on it.  In addition to the bits from the Cd I also used a tree die from Marianne Creatables and a corner die from Memory Box, some gems from my stash and white glitter on the fur trim of the hats and jackets.

More than one Fold - MTTC DT

Time for another challenge over at MTTC, this week it's 'More than one fold (but no Easels)',  I made this kenetic card a while ago, before I became sick, hopefully I will be back on form soon, 'cos it's driving me nuts, dragging on so long.  I used papers and image from Debbi Moore which were freebies I got in her bi monthly mag.  All finished off with some glitter on the headress.

A is for .... Art Deco - CD Sunday

Apologies for not being around much this week, we are still shocked and upset at the news we got from the vet regarding our 'baby',  our cat Sweep who we've had for many years now and had hoped to have around for a few more yet was diagnosed with cancer and will not be around much longer, she's not in any pain and seems her normal self,  which I think it makes it harder to bear, it just doesn't seem fair.  We will make the most of her cuddles whilst we are still able.

So better late than never it's time for another new challenge over at CD Sunday, this week it's the letter A, mine a for Art Deco, love the elegant period of dress.  My image and papers are from Debbi Moores' Glitter and Glitz, the front is acetate which i created an arch with lots of glitter on the lady and a few gems. The piccy is not great, goodness acetate is hard to photo !!

Ribbon/Twine - OLLCB DT

Another fortnight gone already !, where are the weeks going, I cannot believe we are already half way through May, so it means time for another challenge over at Ooh-La-La Creations Challenge  this time our theme is Ribbon/Twine, as you can see i've used ribbon, on my waterfall card, and images/papers from Ooh-La-La's latest CD Fairies and Blooms, along with some Centura Pearl base card and gold Mirri for the layering, I also highlighted the image with glitter, but that unfortuantely doesn't show that well in the piccy.

Wow another 2 weeks gone, they seem to be flying by, so time for another challenge over at Ooh-La-la Creations Blog (OLLCB), this time we are after your masculine suitable cards in our 'Make it Manly' challenge.

My pyramage imge and BP's are from the Ooh-la-la CD Boys to Men, the fine gold edging was made with a gold marker pen, and the centre stepper card is finished off with card candi and some ribbon from my stash.

Spots n Dots - CD Sunday DT

This week our challenge over at CD Sunday is 'Spots n Dots',  mine is a birthday card I made for a special friend of mine, she loves yellows, and daffodils, hope she likes it.  The image is from CC Fairyopolis Spring/Summer, the wings and dress have glittered accents on them by using my sakura glitter pens, the BP's I've had for a while now, not sure where I got them from. I finished off with a bow made with my mini bowdabra and some lovely pearls.

My chest pains from the Pleurisy are almost gone, just keep niggling now and then, I still have earache, sorethroat and cough but as I've had it since before christmas I'm not expecting it to rush off and leave me, still haven't been in the craftroom, that's coming up for three weeks now, but hope to be able to remedy that this week

Enchantment - CD Sunday DT

Morning all, another gloomy and cold day, I really could do with some sunshine even for just for a couple of hours, we seem to have been shrouded in fog for ages now and have had to have the lights on all day this past couple of weeks.

This week our challenge over at CD Sunday is enchantment, I thought this decoupaged Fairy from Debbi Moore seemed quite enchanted with the flower and butterfly and would suit the theme perfectly. The BP is also from Debbi Moore, printed onto Hammered card and the borders were made with an MS Punch.

Sea life - C D Sunday DT

Morning all. This week our challenge over at CD Sunday is Sea Life, so a good excuse to use this image from Joanna Sheens' Jayne Netley Mayhew Set, I decided to keep it quite simple for me as it's such a lovely image, my BP is from an Embossibilities CD by Sharon Duncan, I also used a MS Punch and the swirly die which is so delicate is by Memory Box, although it doesn't show in the photo I also used a little glitter to make the water sparkle.

Party Bag - Delightful Challenges DT

Ooohps, all behind, somewhere this week I seem to have lost a day, I thought today was Wednesday, so where has that day gone?, who stole it.

Your challenge this week over at Delightful Challenges is 'Anything Goes' a nice easy one  for this busy time of year.  So here is a hasitly a put together post now, I may well have to come back and edit it later on.

I was tasked with making party bags for one my grandaughters party in January, the theme being Princesses easy one for the little girls, but there are several little boys going to so I needed to come up with something else for them, I don't think they would appreciate the lovely pink princess, scalloped creations I came up with for them, so we decided similar size and shape without the scallops would be ok, and dragons, knights and castles would be good for the images, thank goodness for Digital Delights by Louby Loo I had all the right images, I know it's not all prettied up with loads of embellies and stuff, somehow I don't think the little boys would like that.

Oh dear, all behind today, where has the morning gone !! At least all my Christmas cards are made, written and ready to post.  Despite my resolve last year to make smaller and lighter weight cards this year, I didn't do very well, they slowly got larger and heavier as the year went on, i am really not good at small and  lighweight cards. 

This week it's Blue Christmas over at Delightful Challenges. Having looked at my teamies cards it seems the Snowy night background was popular with us, no surprise really as it is rather lovely.
