8/10 Flowering Tree - Gingerloft DT

Over at Gingerloft this time the theme is Use a Tree, I used the Flowering Tree imgae from Gingerloft.

Other ingredients used:  BMD papers, corner dies, linen effect mirri, pearls, embossing frame, Big N Juicy ink, promarkers.

3/10 Under the Sea - Gingerloft DT

The theme this time at Gingerloft is Under the Sea, I've used Gingerlofts Mermaid digi, coloured with promarkers glitter, other items used were, Joy Craft Dies, acetate, ribbon, brads, gems, JS House Mouse Inserts CD for bubble papers.

Sketch - Gingerloft DT

This week we have a sketch challenge for you over at Gingerloft,  my DT card uses the Geisha Girl image from Gingerloft which I coloured with promarkers, my die cut arrived in the mail a couple of days before I knew what the sketch was going to be, so when I saw the sketch it was an ideal opportunity try it out.  Before removing the card from the die I inked it to enhance the embossing, the BP is from my stash and the corners were made using an MS punch and cut to make a corner, I finished off with glitter in various places and some pearls and two layers of ribbon.

Colour Blue - Gingerloft DT

Hello there, well at last I am beginning to feel slightly better, although still feeling yucky and dizzy if I try to move too quickly, not that I ever do that with the state of my body, being stuck in my bed meant I had time to sort through my Stamps and file them properly, same with my dies too and I 've done loads of colouring for my next few weeks DT cards, so not a complete waste of time.

Enough of all that, it's time for another challenge over at Gingerloft , this time the theme is the colour blue, I used Guitarboy image availbale from Gingerloft Designs, I coloured him with promarkers, layered him onto my favourite linen effect mirri, and then onto a backing paper from my stash, I can't remember what CD I printed it from, both layers were edged with an MS punch.

Add Those Flowers - Gingerloft DT

Over at Gingerloft this week we want you to add those flowers. Apart from my  fabulous Gingerloft digi, I also used a cuttlebug embossing folder and embossed the pink backing card, layered onto mirri, and Centura Pearl base card,  Marianne Designs dies were used for my scrolls, flowers and leaves, the image was coloured using Promarkers and the corners nibbled with a cropadile corner shaper

Colour Red, Valentine - Gingerloft DT

Another fortnight gone again, were does it go, time for another challenge over at Gingerloft Challenge , this week the challenge is the colour Red, along with some of my teamies I chose to work with The Kisis image available from Gingerloft here

The image had some pink added with my promarkers, I matted it on to some red card which was embossed on my cuttlebug using the swirls embossing plate, I also used some linen effect mirri card in pale pink, the ribbon was pleated and mounted onto a Marianne die, I edged the ribbon with a Sakura clear star glitter pen, and topped it of with a heart shape gem, and added some small gems to the front of the easel base.

Things That Fly - Gingerloft DT

It's time for another challenge over at Gingerloft, this fortnight the theme is Things That Fly, so plenty of time for you to have a go.

I am using an image available from Gingerloft called Out On A Limb, coloured with promarkers, cut out and mounted onto some dotty paper I embossed, framed with a Marianne Designs die cut, and a backing paper from MCS Opulent CD, which a printed afer fading almost out, all of this is mounted on to Centura Pearl card, I also used some ribbon from my stash and peel off sentiment.  I hope you like it.

Guest Designer - Stamps R Us

I had the opportunity to to do a guest designer spot over at Stamps R Us this week, they are being sponsored by Gingerloft, the theme this fortnight is shaped cards, I do love shaped cards and it gave me a good excuse to use some of my new (I treated myself) Marianne Creatables die cut shapes, the frame and the flowers are all her dies, and of course a lovely digi which i've had for a while from Gingerloft. which I coloured with good old promarkers. the base card is my favorite Centura Pearl which I always keep plenty of in my card cupboard.

Celebrations - Gingerloft DT

2nd post today, well better late than never, if you read my first one you'll understand.

Over at Gingerloft this time the theme is Celebrations, as it's new year i thought i would stick with tradition and do a new year card. i'm using the new 2011 image available here. along with many other fab images.

 

I coloured the image with my promarkers and used a freebie backing paper from Making Cards magazine, mirri card from my stash, flower beads from Debbi Moore, some little silver stars I found in a pound shop an MS punch for the edging and used some of the waste bits as faux brads and finally generated the sentiment on my PC. all on my base card of Centura Pearl from Craftersd Companion.

Distressed - Gingerloft

It's time for the last challenge of the year over at Gingerloft, this week the challenge is Distressed. Not something I've done much of, I prefer clean cuts, but it made a nice change, and good to  do something different.  I chose to use Gingerloft's  Pierot image for this one.  I added a fancy edge with my MS punch, a couple of scrolls and some flowers die cut with Marianne designs dies. Matted and layered onto a couple of backing papers from CC Popcorn cd's.

Bows

The second of todays posts, it's time for another challenge over at Gingerloft , This fortnight the challenge has the theme of Bows.  The digi I used was Butterly Iris  which is available from Tami's Gingerloft website. 

I used my Promarkers to colour the image, the backing papers were from  Joanna Sheen's Pam West CD and Beatrix Potter CD by Crafters Companion,  the scrolls were cut using Marianne Designs die on my cuttlebug,  my base card was Centura Pearl from Crafters Companion, and linen mirri from Kanban. 

I've seen and used this style card as a square cut previously and thought I would be clever and match the circle, half way through I wished I hadn't, it is so difficult to get the curves to match up,  believe me it's so much easier to use the square cut , ah well you live and learn, hehehe.
