Zodiac - CD Sunday DT

Morning, gosh January is flying by where has the month gone already.  Just wish the weather would brighten up, I'm so fed up with dismal foggy days, wind and rain, bring on some sunshine quick.

This week our theme over at CD Sunday is Zodiac, my card this week was a real quickie my elements/Bp's are from MCS Simply Silhouettes, Virgo star sign,  layered onto lemon coloured card, some core d'inations card embossed and sanded, and some gems to finish off, hope you like it.

Haystacks Scarecrow - Delightful Challenges DT

The challenge over at Delightful Challenges this week is Distressed/Vintage, it doesn't show very well, but the Haystacks digi which I coloured with Promarkers has tattered straw edges which I cut into several times and frayed them, the colouring is meant to look patchy in line with a distressed/faded look a scarecrow would have from being out in all weathers.  My die cuts are by Marianne Creatable, BP is from Artylicious, and riboon from my stash.

Distressed - Gingerloft

It's time for the last challenge of the year over at Gingerloft, this week the challenge is Distressed. Not something I've done much of, I prefer clean cuts, but it made a nice change, and good to  do something different.  I chose to use Gingerloft's  Pierot image for this one.  I added a fancy edge with my MS punch, a couple of scrolls and some flowers die cut with Marianne designs dies. Matted and layered onto a couple of backing papers from CC Popcorn cd's.
