I just came across a blog where they are asking for your top five cards from the year, thanks to Anne (aka Wicked Witch) posting hers, so I thought that would be fun, but it was much harder than I thought it would be, I ended up with 18 and then had to whittle it down to five. Think of a Number - CD Sunday DT

Well it's almost the end of the year, this is my last DT card for this year, it's for CD Sunday where this week we have the theme of  'Think of a Number', my card is a a Kinetic birthday card for one of my grand daughters who is 4 years old, I've used an image from Rachelle Miller Collection, the BP is one of my favourites from Do Crafts Me To You CD.

All About Birthdays - CD Sunday DT

Hello, this is my last posting before Christmas it's for CD Sunday DT, the theme time  is 'all about birthdays'. my card is made with image and BP's from the Popcorn range by Crafters Companion along with using MS punches and finishing off with some pearls.xxx

Animals in the snow - MTTC DT

This week is the last challenge for 2012 and our theme at My Time To Craft is Animals in the Snow'  so i've gone for a quick and easy card, so many cards to make at this time of year.  The penguins are from Jayne Netley Mayhew Collection by Joanna Sheen, the BP is from my stash has been punched with an MS punch, the senti is also from my stash, printed from a CD a long time ago.

Teddy Bears - CD Sunday DT

It's my turn to pick the theme for this weeks challenge  over at CD Sunday and I chose Teddy Bears, so I hope you like it,  I decided to make this wall hanging for one of my grand-daughters using images and papers from the Popcorn range by Crafters Companion, I seem to be in Popcorn phase at the moment, the individual pieces are linked together with ribbons, it's not the best picture in the world as it was difficult to photograph being quite long, if you click on the piccy  you will see the whole thing, there is quite a bit of dimension to it as the letters and the bears are all decoupaged on to the individual pieces and I used Sakura Glitter Pens on the flowers to highlight them, it looks so much better in real life.

Reflections - OLLCB DT

Morning all, a lovely bright and sunny morning here, it's time for the last challenge of 2012 over at Ooh-La-La Creations Challenge Blog, and the theme this time is 'Reflections' so you a few options here, I decided to go with the mirror type reflections as opposed to the thought type of reflection.  So my reflection is in water, my image and co-ordinating papers are from the Carnival of Colour CD, I also used a Spellbinder die to frame the image, and Britannia 'happy birthday' dies and finally added some ribbon and dew drops to embellish.

Frosty Days - CD Sunday DT

'Frosty Days' A very apt title for this weeks challenge over at CD Sunday, It's frosty and cold here this morning,  I have used decoupage image/papers from Popcorn Frosty and Bright CD by  Companion, the corners are punched with an MS Punch, glitter and flowersoft snow was added to the scarves and hats and I did a different interior fold for this one which I think is quite effective.

Non Traditional Christmas - MTTC DT

It's a non Traditional Christmas Colour day to day over at My Time To Craft. so I thought I would do this snowman one in Purple, it's just a quick and easy one, the cheery little snowman image and papers are from Debbi Moore and the corners on the gold mirri are made with an MS punch.

Oh Christmas Tree - CD Sunday DT

Time for a christmas card I reckon, this card is my CD Sunday DT card where we have the theme of 'Oh Christmas Tree', one of my favourite images is this one from  Majestic Christmas CD by Debbi Moore.  Some more decoupage from me this time and I used a MS punch for the front edge and some glitter to highlight the glittery bits.  Don't forget to pop over and have a look at my teamies makes for this week.

Spots N Dots - OLLCB DT #119

Another fortnight gone again and it's time for a new challenge over at Ooh-La-La-Creations, this time we have the theme is 'Spots n Dots'.  All the patterned papers and image and even the bow are from their Everyday Occasions CD, to finish off I added some Card Candi.

Time for another new challenge over at CD Sunday, this week we are going to be 'Inspired by Nature', my  CD bit is the BP from My Craft Studio, Simply Silhouettes, I've also used an MS punch with dies from Marianne Creatables and Spellbinders and flowers from Crafters Companion

A digi scrapbook page this time for my DT posting today over at My Time To Craft, where the new challenge this week is for 'Domestic Pets',  the piccys in this page are of our 18 year old girl who unfortunately died back in the summer, I used Craft Artist 2 software to assemble this and various elements and papers from Diasy Trail.

Layer it Up - CD Sunday DT

Time for a new challenge at CD Sunday and this week it is Layer it Up, so I immediately thought decoupage, I love this pansy image from JS RHS Collection which I haven't used for ages, you know how it is, you tend to focus on the latest collections and the old ones get forgotten, so it was an ideal one for me to do for this weeks DT card. Hope you like it.

Someone Special - OLLCB DT

Another fortnight gone and time for a new challenge over at Ooh-La-La and this time theme is 'Someone Special', so I chose to make a Christmas card for my special person, I used images and papers from the latest CD from Ooh-La-La Creations Yueltide Wishes and made into another style I haven't made for ages, added some sakura glitter pens for a bit of sparkle to the bears hat and scarf, and finished off with some big mirri blue snowflakes with an MS punch..

Rainy Days - CD Sunday DT

Quite a topical card today, we had torrential rain most of the day yesterday and will most likely be the same again today, at least it's warmish rain !.  

So the theme over at CD Sunday this week is Rainy Days, my image and BP's are from Rachelle Anne Miller Collection, I covered the puddle with clear glaze, but it doesn't show in the piccy but it quite effective in real life, embellies are a memory box corner die and Brittania 'Happy Birthday' dies cut from red mirri card, and a red ribbon to finish off.

Vintage Christmas - MTTC DT

I haven't used this style card for ages, so thought it would be good for this weeks DT card over at My Time To Craft where we are having the theme of Vintage Christmas.  papers and image are from Debbi Moore, I used an MS punch for the borders and the swirl is from Marianne Creatables.

Apologies for the standard of picture this week it's a little washed out, and I have lost my normal white backing, we are baby kitty sitting for a friend at the moment and he likes to try and wreck that area of the craft room and particularly likes nibbling paper and card, his favorite trick is to tip the bin over and drag bits of paper out all over the place, and likes to empty the filing tray everywhere, I also think he is going to be a mountaineer, he seems to love scaling the shelves and eventually getting onto the top of our wardrobes, then sits there crying because he can't get down, it's been fun having him here, but normal peace and quiet will return to the house later today as he is being collected and going back to his home.

Pink Christmas - CD Sunday DT

First Sunday of the month and a new sponsor for us over at CD Sunday, and they are Dreamees, the DT had some lovely pink digi files to play with and this is my creation made in Craft Artist 2, the prize from Dreamees up for grabs to the winner is a any CD from their range up to the value of  £9.99.

C... Christmas - OLLCB DT

Time for another challenge from the team at Ooh-La-La Creations Challenge Blog, this time the theme is very topical and is  'C...Christmas' my creation was made using images papers from the latest CD   Yuletide Wishes it has lots of fabulous images, papers and embellishments on it.  In addition to the bits from the Cd I also used a tree die from Marianne Creatables and a corner die from Memory Box, some gems from my stash and white glitter on the fur trim of the hats and jackets.

Beautiful Blue - CD Sunday

Partly back again after my break and to start here's one I made for this weeks challenge at CD Sunday which is 'Beautiful Blue', the paper is from DoCrafts Me to You CD, and digi image and senti are from Delicious Doodles, the base card is Centura Pearl from CC.  Hope you like it.

Christmas Sentiment - OLLCB DT - 7/8

This time at Ooh-La-La the theme is Christmas Sentiment, as I have been so unwell lately and unable to sit in my cfaft chair I'm afraid I had to use Craft Artist yet again on my laptop propped up, hopefully I will be well enough soon to be able to spend even a few minutes in the craft room, I seem to have done quite a bit in CA lately and it would be nice to make some cards again.

I used papers, images and embellies from their Festive Funnies CD and imported into Craft Artist to design my project, so as you can see their CD's are truly versatile.

Autumn Splendor - CD Sunday DT - 6/8

Number six of my pre-scheduled postings whilst i'm not around, this time it's my DT card for CD Sunday where we have the theme of Autumn Splendor, this theme was my choice, so I hope you like it, I will be back later in the week to pick my top 3. My Cd 'bit' is the Fairy from Fairyopolis CD's, the rest are bits and pieces from various Craft Artist kits.

Recipe - MTTC DT - 5/8

This time I'm showing you my DT project for My Time To Craft, on their new regular Saturday spot.  I imported in to Craft Artist images and papers from Joanna Sheens Jane Shasky CD's and had a play around with them.

 Time to get on with Christmas Cards apparently, where has the year gone, I'm really behind with my cards for Christmas this year and have only made a couple so far, will have to get a move on when I get back home.  So this week we want to see your Santa cards over Ooh-L-La Challenge blog, hope you like mine which has image/papers from Christmas Presence CD.  I also used my Snowflake punches from MS and ribbon from my stash.  See you all soon.

Transport - MTTC 1/8

The first of several scheduled postings over the next couple of weeks, this one is my DT card for My Time To Craft Blog, whose theme this week is 'Transport', I made it a while ago now for my oldest sons birthday, he's into motorbikes.

I can't remember where the decoupage image and paper came from, I do remember it was a freebie download, the corners punches were created with an MS punch and I also used Card Candi.

Awash With Flowers - CD Sunday DT

It's time for another challenge over at CD Sunday and this week our theme is 'Awash with Flowers', my DT card this week was made a couple of months ago before my latest bout of being unwell. 

The papers and image are from MCS Countryside Garden, of course I had to add some sakura glitter to areas of the flowers, and some handcut petals as stoppers on the easel.

Another quick and easy cat card from me this week for the latest challenge over at CD Sunday where we have the theme of Feline Friends.  I love this gorgeous image of a cat which I got from Ivory Cats CD from Joanna Sheen, I printed him twice so I could layer him for a little dimension.

More than one Fold - MTTC DT

Time for another challenge over at MTTC, this week it's 'More than one fold (but no Easels)',  I made this kenetic card a while ago, before I became sick, hopefully I will be back on form soon, 'cos it's driving me nuts, dragging on so long.  I used papers and image from Debbi Moore which were freebies I got in her bi monthly mag.  All finished off with some glitter on the headress.

Need for Speed - CD Sunday DT

Morning all, well it's Sunday again and time for a new challenge over at CD Sunday, this week the theme is 'Need for Speed'.  Another quick and easy card from me, as i'm still not so good.  My image is from Online Digital supplier Simply Sumara, the BP from Ooh-La-La's Boys to Men CD, the die cut cogs are from Spellbinders with the addition of some card candy. Although it doesn't show well in the piccy I also Sakura Glitter pens to highlight the highlight and the scew head images.

Teddy Bear Antics - OLL DT

Morning all, it's time for another challenge over at Ooh-La-La and this time our theme is Teddy Bear Antics, my easel card which was made as a sample card for this newest CD is made using image, papers and embellies from the latest cd from Ooh-La-La Everyday Occasions.  I see this Ooh-La-La Cd and others in their range are being shown this afternoon on Create and Craft TV at 2.00pm today, the CD has lots of lovely everday images, papers, embellies etc.

Allsorts - CD Sunday DT

Back after my short absence, first thing I've made for a while, still not feeling so good and can only do a little bit now and again.  Hopefully I will back to relative normality soon.

It's first Sunday of the month and time for a sponsored challenge over at CD Sunday, with the theme of Allsorts this time our sponsor is FunkyHand.  Each of the DT had a different CD to play with, I had 'Craft the Year Away' and decided to make a Memory Book for piccy's of our cat who we recently lost to cancer, I haven't managed to put the photo's in it yet, but that will happen soon.  I loved how easy it was to select the pages I needed and so easy to put together.

Missing Posts

Typical, seems there have been problems with my scheduled  posts earlier this week, they didn't happen and they have disappeared from the listings, shouldn't grumble really as they are always scheduled and it doesn't happen often,  but why did it have to happen when I am unwell and not up to checking it out ! Makes me want to scream.  Hopefully all will be back to normal this weekend, I just need to feel well enough to make something.

Feeling marginally better today, although not moving much as the ear infection has left me more unbalanced than usual (no rude comments please).  Many thanks for the thoughtful comments about the loss of our Sweep last week, they were very much appreciated.

So onto the missing posts, I am going to make it one big posting, as I'm really not up to sitting like this for long.

On Sunday it was time for a new challenge over at CD Sunday with the theme of 'Cute Christmas', the DT were fortunate enough to be given Elegant Inspirations - Christmas Comfort CD to play with, there are two cd's in this pack one is the normal kind of thing you would expect in the shape of images and backing papers etc., the other cd is full of different cutting files which you can use either with a cutting machine or to print off and cut out by hand.  CD Sunday also have a spare CD to give to the lucky winner of the top 3 this week, so make sure you pop over and have a look.  apart from papers.images from the CD I also used my new holly corner die and added some red Waco Pearl drops for the berries, and a little gold mirri for layering.

On Monday there was also a new challenge over at Ooh-la-La, and their theme for the fortnight is 'All at Sea' my image/papers for this are from 'Boys to Men' CD. with added die cuts from Marianne Creatables using cored'inations card which I lightly sanded after cutting/embossing.

Memories of Sweep

A very sad day for us yesterday we had to have Sweep put to sleep, a month ago she was diagnosed with cancer in her lower jaw, we knew we wouldn't have her with us for much longer, so made the most of her last few weeks with us, (hence my lack of visits to blogs lately) she was spoilt rotten for those weeks, to anyone that knows us, they'll find that hard to believe!! as she was already fairly spoilt anyway, so lots of extra cuddles and had all sorts of treats, she was 'our baby', more like a human than a cat, accompanying us on our various travels around Europe with the caravan, Cats are not so usual to see on caravan sites, so she would frequently attract small children wanting to see or stroke her on her walks around a campsite on her lead, thank goodness she was a good traveller, she had her own seat and safety harness in the car so she could see out and would complain loudly if she couldn't see enough, she selected her special corner in the caravan.  She was 18 years old and has given us many a laugh with her daft antics. As you can know if you've ever had a pet in your life for a few years there have been lots of tears shed lately, we will miss her terribly.

This card is one I made a while ago for my very good friend Clare and also Sweeps' original owner slave. Sweep spent a fair bit of time with us before we adopted her, as Clares' life suddenly changed and was often away travelling on business for weeks at a time, so in the end it made more sense if Sweep stayed with us permanently.

Christmas in August - MTTC DT

My first xmas card this year, I'm so far behind, I generally try to start making them around March, now I'l  have to get a shift on.  I bought a Kanban kit a couple of years ago and never got around to using it at all, I wanted something quick and easy so this seemed ideal and is my DT card for My Time  to Craft this week where the challenge is Christmas in August.

Exotic Birds and Blooms - CD Sunday DT

Good Morning, I must aplogise to my followers who have left me lovely comments recently, with one thing and another I've not managed to visit and comment on your postings lately, life just seems to get in the way at every turn these days, it's as much as I can do to get my DT cards made, let alone much else, I do promise to try and improve over the next few weeks as things settle down and my health is less of a problem.

This week over at CD Sunday the theme is Exotic Birds and Blooms, So Joanna Sheens' Eastern Treasures CD to be the obvious lace to look for something suitable, and unusually I decided to go purple, the colours  jumped out me, I know it's my fav colour, but I do try to avoid making purple creation as otherwise they would all end up being purple.  Don't forget to pop over to my teamies blogs and see their creations.

Morning, I enjoyed looking at all your masculine cards last week, making it a hard decision to pick my top 3, so it's time for another challenge over at CD Sunday and this week our theme is Bingo, I selected the row with flowers, senti, gems, you can see the other choices if you pop over to the CD Sunday Blog.

Fantasy - MTTC DT

After all our lovely water related creations last week, at MTTC  this week we are after your Fantasy creations,  My image and blue BP is from Dreams of Tranquility by Ooh-La-La, there are at least 6 hidden images of wildlife within the image if you look closely, I used an embossing folder on some core d'inations card, an MS punch on two layers of paper, and a Cheery Lynn die for the silver corner, and finished off with Kort and Godt roses.
