Friendship - CD Sunday DT

Hey there, this week is sponsor week over at CD Sunday, and our sponsor is debbees cds  who have been very generous and kindly donated a prize of the Bryony Bee CD, which I'm told is a rare CD and not available for purchase, what a shame I can't enter this. 

The DT were given some images from Debees sets, after seeing Nancy Watt make a double twisted easel card  a couple of weeks ago I decided to have a play for a slightly different shape and this what I came up with.

As well as Debees Images and Backing Paper I used some red mirri, made my flowers using a Marianne Dies, some ribbon from and faux brads from my stash.

Colour Red, Valentine - Gingerloft DT

Another fortnight gone again, were does it go, time for another challenge over at Gingerloft Challenge , this week the challenge is the colour Red, along with some of my teamies I chose to work with The Kisis image available from Gingerloft here

The image had some pink added with my promarkers, I matted it on to some red card which was embossed on my cuttlebug using the swirls embossing plate, I also used some linen effect mirri card in pale pink, the ribbon was pleated and mounted onto a Marianne die, I edged the ribbon with a Sakura clear star glitter pen, and topped it of with a heart shape gem, and added some small gems to the front of the easel base.

flowers and butterflies

Hello, I've had this in my head for a while now, and finally got around to making it this week.

The papers are from Bearly Mine, I used dies from Marianne Designs for the flowers, leaves, large butterfly, and background shapes, the small butterlies are cut with a Martha Stewart punch and glittered on the edges with a sakura clear sparkle pen, I also used Kanban Mirri, CC Centura Pearl card, ribbon and gems from my stash.

Popcorn Christmas - Bah Humbug

Bah Humbug's challenge this week is  - Oldie but a Goldie.  I'm having a change from the traditional Christmas colours and time to get Popcorn out of hibernation this card was created from Crafters Companion Popcorn the Bear, images and backing papers,  Kanban Mirri Linen, tnot sure where I got the base card from, the corners  and medallion shape were punched with an MS punch,

Love is in the air - CD Sunday DT

Hi, It's Sunday yet again already, so it's time for a new challenge over at CD Sunday, this week "Love is the Air", so we want to see your creations, remember you only have to use a little something from a CD, but if you want use more thats fine too.  I'm planning on giving this one to my lovely OH, the teddy couple remind me of us !!

Mine I have to admit,  is not my best creation I have been a little more shaky than usual, these past couple of weeks, so had some problems, probably not the best time to decide to use my Mandala board for the shapes and hand emboss/cut, I have used 2 x DP's,  one from Joanna Sheen's  Pamela West Vol 2 CD (Green Swirls BP) and the second from MCS Opulent  (red BP, faded out mackintosh roses), my image is a Meljen's image "Teddy Bear Couple"  which I got recently and coloured with promarkers, ribbon, peel offs, are from my stash. The hearts and sentiment are from Kanban.

Things That Fly - Gingerloft DT

It's time for another challenge over at Gingerloft, this fortnight the theme is Things That Fly, so plenty of time for you to have a go.

I am using an image available from Gingerloft called Out On A Limb, coloured with promarkers, cut out and mounted onto some dotty paper I embossed, framed with a Marianne Designs die cut, and a backing paper from MCS Opulent CD, which a printed afer fading almost out, all of this is mounted on to Centura Pearl card, I also used some ribbon from my stash and peel off sentiment.  I hope you like it.

Waters Meet - CD Sunday DT

Well hello, here we are at Sunday again, and time for another challenge over at CD Sunday,  we have the theme of Waters Meet, so anything to do with water this week. Just remember to use a little something used from a CD to qualify.

So I had a little play around in the MCS Something Special CD and made one larger image and 3 smaller ones for the Waterfall bit.  I used my new Nellie Snellen die cut frame for the backings of the waterfall sections,  the ribbon I rescued from a gift I received and recycled, all other bits and bobs are from my stash.
