Fireworks JIC # 19

Over at Just Inspirational this week the challenge is Fireworks/Bonfire,  if you're reading this it means bloggers scheduled post has worked, as I'm absent at the moment.

I used two layers of the window/curtain image which I then stamped with a small leaves stamp using versamark and embossed with a embossing powder, then coloured the rest of the curtains with promarkers, added some ribbon for thr tie backs, this was cut out and and acetate inserted for the window, the little vase was printed on to shrink plastic and shrunk.  Fireworks photo is from many years ago at a firework display.

JIC Wk 18

I'm not sure where the last week has gone, it's time for another challenge over at Just Inspirational, this is week  18 and the challenge is to make a Shaped Card. Our sponsor for this challenge is Bugaboo Stamps.

So have some fun creating your shaped card and enter into the challenge.

I decided to make an easel card and used a Marianne Creatable die for the frame, then used the die to draw around for the shape of the base and backing for the easel.
The base card is from Hunkydory, I inked over the frame whilst the card was still in the die to accentuate the embossed bits, the digi image from Bugaboo is coloured with Promarkers.  I cut the flowers with Marianne Creatable die.

This card is also being entered into:
craftycardmakers - Digi Plus
crazychallenge. - Shaped Card
lotstodocallenges. - Shaped Card
digidoodleshopsbest. Anything goes

Thanks for looking

I have used image and papers from Debbi Moore's Let it Snow CD, cardstock from Kanban, Nesties for the scalloped circles an MS punch for the corners with a little bit of glitter on snowy's hat.

This is being entered into:

JIC Week 16

It's week 16 over at Just Inspirational Challenge. Well i finally made it, right at the last minute, could not get going this week. So I hope you like it.
I used this digi stamp from crafty sentiments which were given to use if we wished, isn't he a sweet snowman.
I framed him with a Clarity Stamp Frame, and embossed it with sparkly Melt Dust, mr Snowy is coloured with ProMarkers, used some papers from my christmas stash pile, I think they were freebies I got a while back, all mounted onto Centura Pearl Card, I stamped and heat embossed a sentiment and finished with a twisty bow.

As I haven't been able to post much these past 3 weeks I had a little hunt around to see what other challenges this would be suitable for and am entering it into:
alphabet challenge blog. x-for-xmas
create4fun-challenge.-week-41

JIC #12 A Christmas Card

Wow, Wow, Wow.  An interesting week, firstly I got selected onto the DT over at Just Inspirational Challenges and then I won another challenge yesterday with my entry Diamond/Star Shaped Easel Card, my first win, woohooo.

Anyway, this is my first DT card for Just Inspirational Challenges  I think I must have "stage fright" or something as I don't think it's one of my best, sorry, will do better next time.   I've had these Penguins from Joanna Sheens' Jane Netley Mayhew CD in mind for a Christmas card for ages, I didn't feel I wanted to put any other colours with them, so stuck with the black/white/silver theme. The embossed base card I bought from Create and Craft a while back.
