Fantasy - MTTC DT

After all our lovely water related creations last week, at MTTC  this week we are after your Fantasy creations,  My image and blue BP is from Dreams of Tranquility by Ooh-La-La, there are at least 6 hidden images of wildlife within the image if you look closely, I used an embossing folder on some core d'inations card, an MS punch on two layers of paper, and a Cheery Lynn die for the silver corner, and finished off with Kort and Godt roses.

Mainly Men - CD Sunday DT

All behind again this week, apologies if I didn't get to comment on your blog.   My health this past week has been worse than normal and much more painful than usual, also seem to have some bug or other yet again !!  Fingers crossed for a better week to come.

This week it was my turn to pick the theme over at CD Sunday and I chose mainly Men, thankfully I made my card well in advance of this week, something I'm always short of  is cards for the fellas, so it seemed like a good choice, I used MCS for the polka dot paper, the rest of the items are from some freebie papers I got a while from a magazine.

Recipe - OLLCB DT

Cannot believe it's two weeks since the last challenge at Ooh-La-La, this time the them is a Recipe, one image, 2 DP,  3 embellies (for me gems, paper ribbon and hearts).

My card is made using the latest CD Everyday Occasions from Ooh-La-La which was recently introduced on Create and Craft TV, and is one of the sample cards I made for the CD's launch.  It's full of fantastic images, papers and embellies.  Everything on the card is from the CD apart from the gems. Yep the page curl is not a real page curl but a flat peice of paper as is the bow, it's a paper one.

A is for .... Art Deco - CD Sunday

Apologies for not being around much this week, we are still shocked and upset at the news we got from the vet regarding our 'baby',  our cat Sweep who we've had for many years now and had hoped to have around for a few more yet was diagnosed with cancer and will not be around much longer, she's not in any pain and seems her normal self,  which I think it makes it harder to bear, it just doesn't seem fair.  We will make the most of her cuddles whilst we are still able.

So better late than never it's time for another new challenge over at CD Sunday, this week it's the letter A, mine a for Art Deco, love the elegant period of dress.  My image and papers are from Debbi Moores' Glitter and Glitz, the front is acetate which i created an arch with lots of glitter on the lady and a few gems. The piccy is not great, goodness acetate is hard to photo !!

Make it Wet - MTTC DT

It's time for new challenge over at My Time To Craft and this week the theme is Make it Wet, so we want to see some water themed projects, I chose to use a JS Thomas Kincade image for my creation and make a more masculine card, I also used some MS punches and my latest Marianne die cuts to embellish.

Pearls and Swirls - CD Sunday DT

Morning all, it's Sunday and time for another new challenge over at CD Sunday, this week the theme is Pearls and Swirls, so a chance for me to use my latest CD Egyptian Promise from Debbi Moore, I have highlighted the decoupaged image and also the gold stripes on the front paper with sakura glitter pens, unfortunately it doesn't show up on the piccy.

Whiskers - OLLCB DT - 8/8

These cute little puppies are the centre of my DT card for Ooh-La-La Creations this week, the image and check BP is from their Boys to Men CD, I used an MS punch around the card stock and also corners of the BP's, the ribbon was threaded through a buckle was cut from Royal blue Mirri with a memory Box die

Best of British - CD Sunday DT - 7/8

This 60's London scene is from the Nostalgia CD by Joanna Sheen and is my DT card for this week over at CD Sunday, where the theme this week is Best of British. the fancy corner embellies were cut using Cheery Lynn dies and blue mirri card.

It's Raining Cats/Dogs - MTTC DT - 6/8

Cute little kitties this time for me with my My Time To Craft DT card, this week the theme is It's Raining Cats/Dogs, the image and paws papers are from Furry Friends  by Joanna Sheen. Some dark pink mirri was used for the layers, the edging was punched with an MS Punch on two sides and layered onto the mirri as well and finished off with some gems from my stash.

Seaside Treasures - CD Sunday DT - 5/8

Our theme for this week at CD Sunday is Seaside Treasures, which is great opportunity to use my Faye Whittaker CD from Joanna Sheen, in the red bucket and on the beach I have used flowersoft for the sand, shame it doesn't show very well, I also cut some extra sea shells to decoupage and give some depth, I found the little ice cream in my stash
