Bring on the Cake - MTTC DT

Bring on the Cake - it's time to celebrate !! my cute little House Meeces are having a picnic with their cakes. Cake - such a versatile item of food, celebrations, combating the blues, or just because you feel like it, there's always a reason for cake, we actually just got above freezing yesterday, the first time in over 2 weeks, so my wish for warmer weather came true at last,  not quite picnic weather yet.

Joanna Sheen - Celebration 

House Mouse ATC

I rarely make ATC's, I'm always too busy, but this week the theme at house-mouse and friends challenge is to make a HMD themed ATC's, so thought I would have a change. All made with scraps from one of my many scrap boxes. The main image is from the front sample sheet (just the right size for ATC's) of one of the decoupage sets by Joanna Sheen.  I hope you like it.

Purple Christmas

Left my own devices almost every thing i made would be purple, so I have tried very hard for ages not to include purple, yesterday I thought it's time I gave in and made a mostly purple card, something else I haven't used for a while are my fav House Mouse stamps, love these mice blowing up balloons ready to party, the only other colours on here are the mice colours and the balloons in, yellow, pink, orange, blue, lilac and turq, which were coloured with my whisper watercolour pens and then sprayed with CC Irridescent glitter spray, the purple mirri was put through my cuttlebug using a Marianne Designs embossing & cutting folder (so hard to photo) my Backing Paper is a digi paper from Bearly Mine Designs which i changed the colour of in MCS, the snowflakes were made with an MS punch. Thanks for looking.

2/10 Mouse & poppy - CD Sunday DT

This week at CD Sunday the theme is Stamping as it's the 1st challenge of the month we have a sponsor and prize up for grabs for the lucky winner, this month  the sponsor is Digis with Attitude

I chose to use a House Mouse stamp, my CD elements are from JS House Mouse Inserts CD, my colouring was done with promarkers, Marianne Designs dies were used for the frame and the butterflies.

Gosh 3 postings in one day, I thought I would do another House Mouse card, I really love this image it's just so cute, because the house mouse images are so great on their own I've chosen to make it as a simple easel card.

Rockin Around the Christmas Tree !!

Wanted to think of a really corny title for this, but nothing sprang into my head.

I'm clebrating having a internet connection again, we got so fed up with all the connection problems and having to go to the awful internet cafe we bought a internet dongle thingummy, it will work out cheaper in the end than using the internet cafe at 20 mins for 1.20, when i typically spend 3 or 4 hours at a time on line it quickly adds up to lots, and it's so much more comfortable semi reclined with my feet up (how I am supposed to be) and the lappy, than trying to sit upright in the wheelchair (not what I'm supposed to do), which knocks me out of action for several hours afterwards, because my back, neck and legs lock up, then go into spasms.  Anyway enough of that. -  Far too boring.

George has been very busy and putting up the Christmas deccies, under my expert supervision, of course hehehe, so it all very festive now.  I made a few more different ones this year and re-vamped a few old ones.

Rainbow Lady's  challenge this week is Christmas Animals, I had a hard time trying to decide what to do for this challenge as I have so many christmas animal images, but decided to have this one as I haven't given House Mouse Designs an outing for a while now.   I just love the thought of those sweet rabbits decorating their tree with carrots like this.

I kept it simple as they are so lovely on their own, it's an easel card, I used an MS Snowflake corner punch and layered on to silver mirri, then cut some MS Snowflakes shapes from glitter paper to put on the base.
