Fifties Fun - CD Sunday DT

This time our theme at CD Sunday is Fifties Fun, now I struggled with this one, just couldn't decide which direction to go in and kept changing my mind on what to do, finally settled on this one, it reminded me of being a kid in the fifties with image and frame from Joanna Sheen Nostalgia &  backing paper from Chocolate Baroque Artylicious CD's and my latest favourite Memory Box Die.

Party Bag - Delightful Challenges DT

Ooohps, all behind, somewhere this week I seem to have lost a day, I thought today was Wednesday, so where has that day gone?, who stole it.

Your challenge this week over at Delightful Challenges is 'Anything Goes' a nice easy one  for this busy time of year.  So here is a hasitly a put together post now, I may well have to come back and edit it later on.

I was tasked with making party bags for one my grandaughters party in January, the theme being Princesses easy one for the little girls, but there are several little boys going to so I needed to come up with something else for them, I don't think they would appreciate the lovely pink princess, scalloped creations I came up with for them, so we decided similar size and shape without the scallops would be ok, and dragons, knights and castles would be good for the images, thank goodness for Digital Delights by Louby Loo I had all the right images, I know it's not all prettied up with loads of embellies and stuff, somehow I don't think the little boys would like that.

Yipeeee !! I've been selected to join the DT over at ooh-la-la-creations challenges,  my term doesn't start until January, but the new team members have already been announcesd today on their blog.  I'm so looking forward to working with their lovely images.   I have nothing new to show you today, so thought I would show you a selection of some cards I've made using their images in the past.

Little Princess - CD Sunday DT

There's no a new challenge this week over at CD Sunday, as it's so close Christmas we are running our sponsored challenge for two weeks until next Saturday,  as we are running the challenge over two weeks we have decided that there will be two draws, one on Sunday 11th (today) and then another one at the end of the challenge. So if you have been over to the web site of Elegant Inspiration and had a look and fancy getting your mitts on a copy without having the shell out any of your hard earned cash then come and join us. all entries will go into both draws apart from the winner of the first week.

All the DT have been busy making some gorgeous cards with elements from this Rachelle Anne Miller CD, my two cards are part of our showcase I hope you like them.  

The 'Princess' card is for a certain young lady who is one of my garndaughters and is about to celebrate her 3rd birthday in January and thinks she is a princess, she's having a princess themed birthday party, just loves dressing up and already has her 'princess' dress ready to wear so the image seemed ideal for her, she's a proper little live wire and drives her mum mad.
