I adopted my cat from my good friend Clare several years ago, after she got together with a guy who was allergic to cats, as Sweepy used spend several weeks at a time with us when Clare was away on business or holiday, we just ended up keeping her, she is a very good cat and goes all over Europe with us and our caravan on our travels. Sweepy is very clever cat and has to help make her Mummy Clare Birthday and Christmas cards and even manages to write letters and postcards to her occassionally . See you were right all along - I am offiically mad!!! .
Anyway as luck would have it as there are a couple of challenges that this birthday card can be entered into:
ooh-la-la-creations challenges No 59 - Birthday
cd sunday challenge July - Meow
The crazy challenge All About Birthdays
A straightforward and quickie gatefold card, 'cos we were late and kept a simple and light as poss because of posting abroad. The Paw print papers are taken from MCS More Than Fur & Feathers CD Domesticated Darlings. Photo's of Sweepy on her recent holidays layered onto cards from stash,

Cute Little Angel
I've had a couple of days having to keep my feet up, so I have done a fair bit of cutting out, I have a lovely big folder of all sorts of Christmas bits done ready to make into toppers of various sizes and shapes.
This is one of the simple ones, that I completed this afternoon.
I am entering it into:
Flutterby Wednesday No 114, Christmas in July
Just Inspirational No 4 - A Digi Image
digidoodle shops best. No 17 - Anything Goes
christmas cards all year round Anything Goes
I used: A little Angel NSR/Digi Image from MCS new xmas Cd set, printed 3 of her, coloured her with Pro markers, Ivory, Pastel Yellow, Cool Grey 1 & Gold and layered her for dimension, also added some Diamond Sparkles onto her star, and layered onto some dark blue and gold pearlescent card. For the card base I used some white card and randomly stamped a flourish stamp from Banana Frog with Versamark and heat embossed with Tropic Aqua Cosmic Shimmer Embossing Powder on the front and back. For the insert I generated and printed the verse onto some pale blue paper and used my latest MS Punch Around The Page Snowflake set
I'm hoping I've sussed out how to add proper links in my postings. Fingers crossed, see I don't waste all those nights when I can't sleep, I get on the computer and try and find my way around "blogging".

CC Sketch 2 July
The new Crafter Companion site is having their 2nd monthly challenge, with this sketch, I decided it would be a good layout for OH's birthday card, so I hope he stays away from my blog for a while. Here's my entry.
I used Crafter Companion Mens CD1 for the main image, Lion backing paper and letters, some CC pearlescent card, the dotty cream paper and other bits and bobs i've had in my stash for a while.
Since I took the photo I've put the lettering on starting at the bottom, as it seems to make more sense.

Old age lambretta
Old "mods" don't fade away they bling up the walking aids instead.
I like the hunour of this digi stamp, I think it's from Just Inklined, but i'm not 100% sure, so if you know please tell me, then I can credit the designer correctly. I'm entering this into:
ICS #75
Promarkers, "distressed" challenge.
The Crazy Challenge - men's card
Just Inspirational - Vintage - well he is a vintage guy!!
I used a digi stamp I've had for a short while, coloured with pro-markers, distressed the edges with blue chalk ink, layered onto some ribbed silver card, and cut an edge on some pale blue paper with a Martha Stewart punch. Chomped the corners with a Crop-A-Dile.
Thanks for looking xx

Christmas in July
Well I'm a bit late starting on Christmas cards this year, I will have to get my act together and get going next week as I have loads to make. Thankfully I have quite a few ideas, I just need to get myself motivated now, it still seems strange making Chrissy cards in this lovely weather, you would think I would be used to it by now.
The photo is not great, as the main background is a lovely light green pearlescent card, but looks quite washed out here.
Image: Ooh La La Creations Watercolour Memories, my latest CD, with some beautiful artwork.
Cardstock: Crafters Companion, Pearlescent, Pinflair Red Christmas Holographic Mirri & gold glitter paper
Ribbon trim, punched from the gold & red card with a Martha Stewart punch.

Corset
Here's todays effort, which has taken so much longer than usual, Thermometre is reading 39c in here at the moment, I have two fans on full blast, so everything is being held down by whatever I can find, bits of paper and fans don't really go together well do they.
Have made this for daughter No.3 and also to enter into a couple of challenges:
Just Inspirational No 2 - Pink, Brown, Cream, ribbons, gems, glitter
Pollycraft Monday Challenge No 51 - I turned it on it's side for mine

Popcorn for another daughter
A busy time for birthdays here, 2nd card done only 7 to go, it will keep me out of mischief, it's great as I can combine some of them with challenges/sketches etc, which is just as well as i'm struggling to find my crafting mojo after this marathon flu sickness, it started almost 4 weeks ago and whilst were both are over the worst last week, it's taking a long time to recover and get rid of the coughs and sneezes. Anyway enough of our boring health.
I love popcorn, he's such a cutie, this one is for another of our daughters and I'm also entering it into 3 challenges:
Just Inspirational 1st Challenge
Just cute bears challenge # 24
CD Sunday Challenge - Just for you
Recipe:
Image/decoupage and 2 of the backing papers from Popcorn floral CD by Crafters Companion the 3rd paper from Sharon Duncan Embossibilities CD.
Plain silver mirri, Ribbed effect silver card, and a lilac pearlescent card and ribbon from stash
Martha Stewart corner punch on the mirri topper
Yes I know there's a lot of purple/lilac, again.

Art Deco for one of our Daughters
Just the excuses I needed to make an Art Deco Card from CD's by Debbi Moore.
One of daughters favourite colours are red and black and Rainbow Lady's Challenge this week is Art Deco, I also enjoyed making the pop-up inside for the card, the first time I've made a pop-up.
Recipe:
Images and Pop-up from Glitter & Glitz by Debbi Moore
Linen effect red mirri and gold mirri card
Red glitter card,
gems and ribbon from stash.
I must say a big thank you to my OH George who made me my handy little bow shaper from some wooden dowels and a small block of wood he had in the garage. Very handy and easy to use.
