Fairies & Blooms - OLLCB DT

Another fortnight gone again, cannot believe we are half way through March already.  It's time for another challenge over at Ooh-La-La Challenge Blog and this week our theme is 'Thank You'.  My card this time is made from images and papers from their latest CD Fairies and Blooms, lots of fabulous images and papers to choose from, my image is just right for this time of year with the lovely spring colours, if you fancy a further look at what's on the CD click on the link above. Additional bits and bobs are ribbon, pearls and card candi from Joanna Sheen, the flowers were die cut with Marianne dies from the flowers paper on the CD, much neater and quicker than me handcutting the shapes !!

Spots n Dots - CD Sunday DT

This week our challenge over at CD Sunday is 'Spots n Dots',  mine is a birthday card I made for a special friend of mine, she loves yellows, and daffodils, hope she likes it.  The image is from CC Fairyopolis Spring/Summer, the wings and dress have glittered accents on them by using my sakura glitter pens, the BP's I've had for a while now, not sure where I got them from. I finished off with a bow made with my mini bowdabra and some lovely pearls.

My chest pains from the Pleurisy are almost gone, just keep niggling now and then, I still have earache, sorethroat and cough but as I've had it since before christmas I'm not expecting it to rush off and leave me, still haven't been in the craftroom, that's coming up for three weeks now, but hope to be able to remedy that this week

Doilies & Flowers - MTTC DT

Yay !! at last the antibiotics seem to be doing some good, I appear to be on the road to recovery from this infection, I can at least breathe a little easier, although not great I'm getting there.  Hoping to get back in the craft room later this week to start catching up again, thankfully, because of my various disabilities I do tend to work a few weeks in advance for my DT projects, just in case I have a bad spell and am unable to craft at all.

This time at My Time To Craft our theme is Doilies and Flowers, now doilies are not something I had in my stash, so poor George was despatched to the local supermarket to hunt out a pack of doilies and dutifully returned with some very large oblong ones, so i've used the corner of one on my card, daubed it with some pale mustard colour chalk ink as it was a very bright white, the retro style papers and senti were some freebies I had,  I finished off with gems and organza ribbon.

From me to You - CD Sunday DT

A quick and automated posting from me this week, many thanks to everyone who has sent me get well messages, sorry to say I'm still pretty much the same, I actually seemed to get worse during the week and I'm just starting my second lot of antibiotics as the first ones haven't really touched me yet.

Thankfully I already made this weeks CD Sunday card or you wouldn't be seeing anything from today, this week the theme at CD Sunday is 'From me To You',  I used papers and image from Joanna Sheens Faye Whittaker CD, I love the very large bunch of daffodils the little girl is carrying, so bright cheerful and springful (I know it's not a word !), i do love spring flowers, daffoldils, wisteria, crocus, tulips a sign of better things to come, my die cut flowers were made with Marianne Dies and the flourishes were using Spellbinders dies.

Imagine - CD Sunday DT

Well this one should have been posted yesterday, sorry, I'm running a little late !!, due to being unwell and still getting worse instead of better, I won't be here long, I'm going to crawl back to my sick bed.

It's the first week of a shiny new month, so that means a sponsored challenged over at CD Sunday and the chance of a CD prize, this time from Elegant Inspirations whose latest CD is Imagine.

On the Move - OLLC DT

Hi all, these are going to be quick posts today, I've had a few days of feeling like I've been run over by a bus, this chest and ear infection seems to have really got a grip on me and my balance is not good, horror of horrors I didn't even switch my PC for over 24 hours and that's a very rare occurrence. Not that it's going to be on for long now, I really don't feel like it, so cold and shivery, I'm hoping the antibiotics will perk me up soon and restore my equilibrium.

This fortnight our challenge over at Ooh-La-La Creations is 'On the Move',  my image and papers are from the Boys to Men CD.  It's my turn to pick the top 3 this time, so I hope to see your entry.
