It's Bling time this week over at CD Sunday, so I thought I would go totally OTT, CC Sparkle and Spray, sparkly glitter and pearl drops everywhere, I used the Gemstone Magic CD by Debbi Moore for images and BP's

Morning all, it's Sunday again already, now where did the week go. I've got more water again this week on my card for CD Sunday, well I like water scenes and I'm sadly lacking in cards suitable for the fellas, the theme for the challenge this week is Dream, now you may look at this and think what's that got to do with dreams, you have to look closely and no you are not dreaming there are hidden images in the scene of animals and an ethereal looking lady in there, I seem to remember there being about 6 of them, but I could be wrong, must have a closer look myself sometime, the image is from Ooh-La-La Dreams of Tranquility CD as is the BP, the two images are sprayed with CC Irridescent sparkle. My base card is Centura Pearl as is the card I layered the images on to, the scrolls are cut from royal blue glitter paper with my fav dies from Marianne Creatables, and the ends had some waco pearl drops applied for added embellishment. I hope you like it.
It's Christmas !! Going by the weather here the past three days it could well be almost Christmas, but it's not it's July and we are being good by starting on Christmas cards nice and early over at Delightful Challenges, so that's your challenge this week, lets see some fabulous christmas cards.
My Stocking Noah was coloured with promarkers, flocking was used on his hat and the stocking top. The holly wreath die cut i've had since last year and finally got around to using, also gives some gorgeous raised holly embossing which I highlighted with colourbox inks, the berries were coloured with a Sakura glitter sparkle pen as were the snowflakes on the xmas stocking
The sponsor for this week is Crafty Emma's Store with the prize of a £10 voucher for the lucky winner
Thought I would do another Christmas Card today, now I'm not sure why but nothing is turning out like the ideas in my head, so another one I'm not totally happy with, just wish I could my finger on what it is I'm not happy with.
Anyway for this card I have used two of my new Marianne dies, which are so lovely, I added some peel offs to the sled, and also the borders of the main card, then used my MS Star border punch on gold mirri and and added some gold/blue glitter ribbon for the central band, my BP is from a Debbi Moore CD, and i've used a Darice snowflake embossing folder on some cored'inations card. the five stars at the bottom are the pieces from the Star punch used across the centre and top. Thanks for looking.
I had forgotten about this scenic style until a friend made one the other week and I was reminded of it, so I thought it an ideal style for using a Thomas Kincade image from a Joanna Sheen CD, it is printed onto super smooth white card and sprayed with CC Sparkle and Shine spray, cut very carefully into the appropriate sections and then matted onto a navy blue base card from my stash, easy peasy really. Yep, this was my second attempt as I really mucked up the first one from not concentrating, that'll teach me.
It is my DT card for the latest challenge over at CD Sunday with theme of Nautical, I hope we get to see you there with your creation, just remember to use something from a crafting CD and of course don't forget to tell which CD it was.
Well now blogger didn't work properlly this was sheduled to post 3 hours ago, just as well I checked. grrrrhh
This weeks theme over at Delightful Challenges is Fancy Fold. One of the styles I love is the Centre Stepper card, so I went for that, I printed an extra Briley with her balloons, and layered her for some dimension, the balloons had Crystal Glaze added to them, I used some sparkly Madiera thread from my cross stitching threads and used it for the balloon strings which I threaded through Brileys hand (she was very brave when I attacked with her the needle and it didn't hurt her when I made the hole in her hand - honest !!) My scrolls were die cut with one of my fav Marianne dies and the butterflies ribbon were made using an MS punch. Lastly I used one my fav BP's from MCS which has beautiful white silhouette swirls and butterflies on it, such a shame a lot of it is covered up.
This week our sponsor is
who are offering a prize of 3 sets to one lucky winner
DD stamps : Briley Balloons
Card/papers: Centura Pearl Card, MCS Finishing TouchPaper, Glitter paper
Acc / Embellies: Marianne Dies, Crystal Glaze, Madiera Thread, MS Butterfly Punch, Cropadile Corner Punch
Special Techniques: Centre Stepper Card
Happy Sunday morning, this week we are challenged to make a handbag related theme over at CD Sunday. I didn't have any handbag stamps or images that I could find, so I thought why not make a handbag and went with using a template from MCS Encylopaedia and a BP from the same CD set, it's embellieshed with royal blue glitter paper, cut with an MS punch. Hope to see you over at CD Sunday with your entry.
Left my own devices almost every thing i made would be purple, so I have tried very hard for ages not to include purple, yesterday I thought it's time I gave in and made a mostly purple card, something else I haven't used for a while are my fav House Mouse stamps, love these mice blowing up balloons ready to party, the only other colours on here are the mice colours and the balloons in, yellow, pink, orange, blue, lilac and turq, which were coloured with my whisper watercolour pens and then sprayed with CC Irridescent glitter spray, the purple mirri was put through my cuttlebug using a Marianne Designs embossing & cutting folder (so hard to photo) my Backing Paper is a digi paper from Bearly Mine Designs which i changed the colour of in MCS, the snowflakes were made with an MS punch. Thanks for looking.
Gosh another month gone already, can't believe it's already July, I hope you are enjoying the summer.
As it's the 1st challenge of the month that means it's a sponsor week over at CD Sunday and this week we are lucky to have The Stamping Boutique as our sponsor, they are offering a prize of 3 images of your choice to one lucky winner, so lets see your entries for Christmas over at the CD Sunday challenge blog.
I chose to play with the Stamping Boutique digi stamp Mail Girl for my card and coloured her with promarkers and used flowersoft polar white on her fur trims, the snow is made with my puffy snow pen, clever stuff that ! my Stars & Globes BP is from the Crystal Dreams CD by Debbi Moore, the snowflakes were cut with an MS snowlfake punch and the circular die cut and the icicles border are both with Marianne Creatables (I just love their dies and i'm building up quite a collection now) from some Kanban patterened mirri card. So I can pop another Christmas card in my box. Thanks for looking.
Please join the campaign and post this on your blog :-) The owner approval is a much nicer way of screening your comments. This is a huge help to friends and to DTs who work really hard to stop by and comment on Blogs each week.
Hi there my name is Wendy, better known in blogland as Purple Crazy. I live with my lovely husband. My three children all flew the nest many years ago and between them have had my six grandchildren.
I’ve crafted at all sorts of things since I was a young child, now that’s an awful lot of years !! and have had a go at many different crafts, currently I’m into paper crafting patchworking, general sewing, jewellery, decorating candles, kumihimo and cross stitch, I also love to read crime/thriller stories.
Thankfully crafting and reading when I am able has kept me sane since injuring my spine and legs and confining me to a semi reclined position.
