Nautical - CD Sunday DT

I had forgotten about this scenic style until a friend made one the other week and I was reminded of it, so I thought it an ideal style for using a Thomas Kincade image from a Joanna Sheen CD, it is printed onto super smooth white card and sprayed with CC Sparkle and Shine spray, cut very carefully into the appropriate sections and then matted onto a navy blue base card from my stash, easy peasy really. Yep, this was my second attempt as I really mucked up the first one from not concentrating, that'll teach me.

It is my DT card for the latest challenge over at CD Sunday with theme of Nautical, I hope we get to see you there with your creation, just remember to use something from a crafting CD and of course don't forget to tell which CD it was.

Fancy Fold - Delightful Challenges DT

 Hi there,

This weeks theme over at Delightful Challenges is Fancy Fold.  One of the styles I love is the Centre Stepper card, so I went for that, I printed an extra Briley with her balloons, and layered her for some dimension, the balloons had Crystal Glaze added to them, I used some sparkly Madiera thread from my cross stitching threads and used it for the balloon strings which I threaded through Brileys hand (she was very brave when I attacked with her the needle and it didn't hurt her when I made the hole in her hand - honest !!) My scrolls were die cut with one of my fav Marianne dies and the butterflies ribbon were made using an MS punch. Lastly I used one my fav BP's from MCS which has beautiful white silhouette swirls and butterflies on it, such a shame a lot of it is covered up.

 This week our sponsor is

Handbags !! - CD Sunday DT

Happy Sunday morning, this week we are challenged to make a handbag related theme over at CD Sunday.  I didn't have any handbag stamps or images that I could find, so I thought why not make a handbag and  went with using a template from MCS Encylopaedia and a BP from the same CD set, it's embellieshed with royal blue glitter paper, cut with an MS punch. Hope to see you over at CD Sunday with your entry.

Purple Christmas

Left my own devices almost every thing i made would be purple, so I have tried very hard for ages not to include purple, yesterday I thought it's time I gave in and made a mostly purple card, something else I haven't used for a while are my fav House Mouse stamps, love these mice blowing up balloons ready to party, the only other colours on here are the mice colours and the balloons in, yellow, pink, orange, blue, lilac and turq, which were coloured with my whisper watercolour pens and then sprayed with CC Irridescent glitter spray, the purple mirri was put through my cuttlebug using a Marianne Designs embossing & cutting folder (so hard to photo) my Backing Paper is a digi paper from Bearly Mine Designs which i changed the colour of in MCS, the snowflakes were made with an MS punch. Thanks for looking.

Christmas is Calling - Sponsor week - CD Sunday DT

Gosh another month gone already, can't believe it's already July, I hope you are enjoying the summer.

As it's the 1st challenge of the month that means it's a sponsor week over at CD Sunday and this week we are lucky to have The Stamping Boutique as our sponsor, they are offering a prize of 3 images of your choice to one lucky winner, so lets see your entries for Christmas over at the CD Sunday challenge blog.

I chose to play with the Stamping Boutique digi stamp Mail Girl for my card and coloured her with promarkers and used flowersoft polar white on her fur trims, the snow is made with my puffy snow pen, clever stuff that ! my Stars & Globes BP is from the Crystal Dreams CD by Debbi Moore, the snowflakes were cut with an MS snowlfake punch and the circular die cut and the icicles border are both with Marianne Creatables (I just love their dies and i'm building up quite a collection now) from some Kanban patterened mirri card. So I can pop another Christmas card in my box. Thanks for looking.
